Hey guys-  I know it's the time of year where nobody is thinking about being active, instead giving into  holiday eating (over half of your annual weight gain will take place in the next five weeks!!).  For those that want to kick start a running program but maybe don't know how.... THIS IS FOR YOU!

This is such a rough time a year for everyone and it's so easy to give into excuses.... It's getting too cold out. It gets dark too early. I don't have money for a workout because I need to save for the holidays. I can start wearing baggy sweatshirts to hide my fat. I can't eat healthy now because the holidays are coming up. So many excuses can easily deter us.

These next few months are going to pass whether you're ready or not. It's going to get colder. It's going to get darker. The holidays will come.

My question is, what about when the cold weather passes? The darkness lightens? The holidays pass? Once that's all over, how do you HOPE TO FEEL?

Would you rather be out of shape, depressed, ten steps back from where you are right at this moment? Would you rather have to play "clean up" and fix everything that's gone wrong from your poor choices?

Or, would you rather take these next few months as any other months and focus on your health, fitness and nutrition - so when this cloud of "winter" clears, you're stronger, leaner, bigger, better, skinnier, healthier, beastlier than you are at this very moment? The time will pass no matter what, so why not make the best of it?!?!! Why not make yourself productive and put in the work? Make these months count. Make these months worth something. Make these months something you can be proud of once spring rolls around.

I know I am.... Will you?
