I was born in California and attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where I graduated with a degree in Information Systems Management and a minor in Sociology. I began my career as a software engineer in California where I developed a multi-tenant eCommerce system for hosting storefronts and a content management system for a multimedia streaming application.
In 2007, I moved 2,500 miles to South Carolina to pursue new career opportunities. I joined Benefitfocus - the largest healthcare benefits software provider in the country. There, I worked on icyou, a healthcare video community site, and an internal platform for developing new applications where I implemented a framework for handling inbound single sign-on requests.
In May of 2011, I started to work for SPARC. I love working in an agile environment, being exposed to a lot of interesting challenges, and having opportunities to learn Java and mobile development.
In February of 2012, my son Malcolm Isaac Felch was born.
