Wow! The annual operating budget for the Smithsonian Institution is more than $800 million. The institution has nineteen museums and galleries, nine research facilities and the National Zoological Park. It is the largest museum and research center in the world.

Many of the Smithsonian Institute exhibits include free admission.

Anybody know what these guys are? Me neither, but they sure are cute. Just like puppies and babies...

I do know they live at the National Zoo (Smithsonian) in Washington DC and that there are 400 other species, totaling 2000 animals, living there and that 25% of these amazing animals are considered endangered.

Photo caption ideas?

Sound Off! is the Pacific Northwest’s premier 21-and-under battle of the bands, which takes place at Museum of Pop Culture each winter. Twelve bands compete over three weeks for a shot at making it to the finals.
