Up at the crack of dawn today to meet up with Mary & Jody for their pre-wedding shoot in the Peak District.

The stunning landscape of the Peaks, combined with dramatic lighting, definitely makes this one of my favourite places to shoot nowadays.

Lovely afternoon spent snapping Claire, Alex, Arielle and Baxter in the fields near our house.

Its always a pleasure to be booked by friends to photograph their wedding day... and I can't wait to shoot these guys getting married in July.

I'm only 5 weddings into the year, and I'm already noticing how beneficial my massive Winter break was to my creativity. I'd have never snapped a shot like this last year!

I hit the big 4-0 next year, and have been shooting weddings since I was 19, but even after all those years its still so interesting to see how my style develops and changes slightly.

Nicola and Carl got hitched in the Peak District today at the beautiful Hassop Hall. So pleased the sun came out for our time outside. Also happy that I dusted off the tilt shift lens and took it out for the first time this year.

NEW BLOG POST! The wedding of Rachael + Hayley at the stunning West Mill in Derbyshire.

A lovely festive wedding in a super-cool venue. If seeing images of Santa a month after Christmas depresses you... well, you may not want to look at this wedding!

Last year I shot my biggest wedding ever. A whopping 360+ guests made their way to Greenwich to watch Isabel and Ross get hitched.

Not only did these guys throw one hell of a party, they also hired two of the Thames clipper boats to ferry all their guests up the Thames to their venue, the amazing Old Royal Naval College.

Please click the link below to see the wedding...

Thanks to my good pal Kim Gribbon for second shooting with me on this mammoth wedding. We worked our butts off on this wedding... and I personally think we documented the day pretty darn well. Isabel and Ross were an extremely chilled couple... and just left the two of us to get on with capturing the fun moments of their day... Perfect!

That's it for another year... final wedding of 2016 shot.
Now for some chilled-out family time... fun days out... and the start of marathon training again before my busy 2017 wedding season kicks in.

Thanks to all my lovely couples that booked me this year... its been a blast. And a HUGE thanks to yesterdays bride and groom, Tess and Chris (pictured here at The West Mill Wedding Venue) Such a genuinely nice couple to spend my last wedding of the year with.

I've still got 3 weddings to shoot before I say hello to 2017, but here is my 2016 review in pictures blog. This year I decided to do a slideshow to tell the story of my year.

Thanks to all my awesome couples I've shot this year. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year.
