SERVICE ADVISORY

Repairs are now underway for the international undersea cables that were recently damaged affecting access to some gaming and social media sites hosted in Hong Kong. To alleviate the situation, PLDT has tapped other routes to these affected sites to ensure adequate bandwith and a normalized broadband experience.

Most other social media sites, video streaming services, and websites hosted within the Philippines and in other countries are NOT affected by the cable cuts.

We shall post more updates in our PLDT Home Facebook page. Thank you.

Mr. Duterte sounds more and more like a herald of the soon to be restored past rather than the socialist visionary he once claimed to be. It leads to suspicions that he’s not only preempting a military coup, but even preparing for a coup of his own in the manner of Ferdinand Marcos, who did it by declaring martial law — and who also militarized the bureaucracy and packed the military with his appointees in preparation for 1972.
