This is a really good thing.

This could prove really useful in any number of sticky situations where making a call just isn't an option.
People are advised to text 911 if they are deaf, hard of hearing, have a speech disability or are in a situation where making a call could be dangerous.

I've been waiting to see the rules and regulations for #selfdrivingcars , +Steven Sweat.
The Department of Motor Vehicles announced Tuesday it has created rules governing how self-driving cars are tested by manufacturers on California roads. These new rules could open the door for more vehicles hitting the roads in local neighborhoods.

Where's Airport Security When You Need Them?
While I'm glad to see the kid alive and well, this definitely raises serious security issues.
Officials say a 16-year-old boy is "lucky to be alive" and unharmed after flying from California to Hawaii stowed away in a plane's wheel well, surviving cold temperatures at 38,000 feet and a lack of oxygen."Doesn't even remember the flight," FBI spokesman Tom Simon in Honolulu said.<br/>

Wow, they actually convicted this kid of disorderly conduct, yet the teenage tyrants received no punishment. What kind of message is this sending?

Sometimes you can find tranquility online where we'd least expect it -- in this case, it's with GIFs.

A would-be thief attempted to snatch the woman's gold necklace during an interview, but only succeeded in breaking the chain and ran away empty handed.

Introduction

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and my J.D. and M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. I graduated law school with honors and won several awards for academic excellence. Before entering private practice, I was an Administrative Law Judge and presided over more than 15,000 driver’s license suspension and revocation hearings.

I’m licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and the State of Colorado as well as being fully certified to conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (the set of roadside exercises the police request you perform during DUI and DWI stops). I’m a proud member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.

The Law Office of Edward Tayter serves Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Cecil County, and Prince George’s County. Mr. Tayter represents clients in all Maryland State Courts as well as at the Office of Administrative Hearings. His area of practice includes DUI and DWI cases in these regions.
