Mystery Bells Another image shot while on a day trip down Cape Cod and since I wanted to sound like I had a clue what these were after many searches on Google it seems they are always referred to as flowers that look like bells :)

Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea)! They're common roadside flowers where I live; also the original biological source of digitalis, the heart medication, first noted as a plant extract in 1785!
(They're also highly poisonous, so don't nibble them!)
