Coins, mushrooms, and 1-ups at the Children's Museum. At least I assume that's what they are.

CG is awesome. The proof is when you don't know it's there.

The most awe-inspiring photo I've recently seen.

"Torres del Paine" means "blue towers"...here you see why. The photo was taken early in the morning before sunrise.

'Torres del Paine" heißt nichts anderes als "blaue Türme" und hier kann man ganz gut sehen, warum. Das Foto wurde früh am Morgen vor Sonnenaufgang gemacht...

This photo really strikes me. An anthropologist took it in 1904, but it doesn't look nearly that old because the subject is smiling.
There are 4 theories about why people never smiled in old photos, and they explain a lot about photography and culture.

Seen at the turnstile on Boston's Red Line subway. What do you think: XP, Me, or 98 Second Edition?

Whichever it is, I obviously can't reach the shutdown options until I fix the screen resolution.

square corners. It has to be 98, possibly ME but I don't think ME was used for production apps.

Why do all memes look so similar? There are a few very good reasons.

Money quote: Dolgov [the software lead for the self-driving team] described one circumstance that (correctly) puzzled the car into submission recently: it turned out to be a person in a wheelchair chasing a duck with a broomstick. In circles. In the middle of the street. "This is not something we likely would have anticipated," he says. "And this is not something you can very accurately model."
Here’s everything you need to know about Prototype.

Introduction

Bragging rights
Won a limbo contest. Entered a Taco Bell drive thru on foot and when he was refused service, convinced the driver of the car behind him to secure his food. Walked the entire River Thames from barrier to source. Climbed up the highest thing in most of the cities he's visited. Has two wonderful daughters (though admittedly one of them drools a lot).

Not just good for vegans: the food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty and creative, and their service is excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Likely the best bagels in the bagel-starved Boston area, perhaps even better than bagel-endowed cities like NYC. Are they worth double the cost of other quite decent bagels? That's up to your bagel values. They're more costly, but they're slightly bigger than typical specimens, with an extra chewy crust and soft center. In a word, perfect. If you just want a dozen you can skip the weekend line for a cash-only, arbitrarily selected "grab bag."

Some of the best pies I've ever had. Slightly charred and oily, but if that's compatible with your taste, you'll unlikely find better.

You will have to wait in line, but this brewery has beers that are worth it. Try the Vicinity or Artaic double IPAs, or their namesake saison. The website has bottle/growler offerings, and their Facebook page tells you the status of each one. Note: there are no tastings at the brewey.
