Very handy tip for all OSX users looking to bulk re-size images
OS X: Several applications can resize a bunch of images, but it often takes some time and fiddling. Like with most Terminal commands, it just takes a little string of text to get your images down to size fast.

If you don't mind being in the middle of nowhere with incredible views, this is quite a remarkable place to visit. A restoration project run by the host Alexandre (who lives off site), this is a magical spot if you are looking to walk or cycle the hills and gorges surrounding St Guilhem. Basic, but comfortable and with plenty of character, it is not necessarily for the faint hearted; the 25 mins drive up requires a sturdy (or hire) car and a bit of careful driving, the walk down to St Guilhem a fair 1hr trek down some rocky paths - we half expected to meet some mountain goats coming the other way. The Gite is available to be rented out as a whole, or there are 2 individual rooms - the double we stayed in was €40 a night - with a large shared kitchen and seating area, or there is a more cosmopolitan self-contained flat and kitchen for €70 a night with 2 bedrooms, which would be ideal for those who prefer their home comforts i.e. normal (not bio) toilets and own shower. Quite an experience, helped by good weather.

Great service this afternoon. I went in to get a new bottom bracket fitted and Peter the mechanic even went to the trouble of shaving my crank casing down for an exact fit. Plus good advice on possible upgrades too. Thanks

Everything your local bike shop should be. An oasis of calm when I walked in with a puncture at 8:30 this morning. They offered to repair it there and then, but were equally happy to lend me tools and let me get on and fix it myself. Nice guys with a good attitude and knowledge. Probably the least stressful commuting puncture experience I've had. Highly recommended.

Great venue, but the service was unbelievably slow, half an hour for a beer to arrive?! Fortunately it was a fairly quiet night so we eventually got our drinks otherwise we'd have got up and left. Oh, and contrary to what the website says, there's no hot food served. To be fair the waiter did bring us complimentary drinks as way of an apology, but in a comedy moment that proved too good to be true, he nearly spilt the lot over my friend sat at the end of the table. Round up? Errrr, non plussed and not the Night Jar.
