Well, you could still have it mild. Personally I want it so hot my eyes water, but my husband prefers a more mild version. :)

Is is delicious with the beer either way.

Baseball Season is Upon Us

Warning:  +Los Angeles Dodgers & +Oakland Athletics Fan

Howdy friends, family, and fellow G+ers...  since its the beginning of baseball season, I figured I would send out my annual reminder to all my friends who have me in their circles..  Yes, my +San Francisco 49ers are my football team.... and it confuses many as to why I am a Dodger fan as well...

For many years, I blamed my love for the +Los Angeles Dodgers on the behavior of Giants fans... but I have realized something this offseason...

This season, the whole family went to see our first spring training game... this is where I kinda like to think I grew a little.  It was then, and only then, when I realized why I was such a big A's and Dodger fan - and it had nothing to do with the Giants.

I remembered my first taste of baseball - 1988.  It was the most exhilarating experience, I was immersed in the season, the baseball cards, the whole 9 (or 410, anyway).  The climax of that season was the Dodger-A's World Series, and it was the most awesome feeling watching it as a kid.  Almost scarring.

It was then - solidly embedded in my head - my favorite two teams - the teams that made me feel the best I have felt in baseball ever.  It was those two teams that hooked me for life, that bit me.

It had nothing to do with the Giants.  In fact, ,after realizing this - that it was for my love and not for my hate - that I love Baseball.  And it gave me that life long love for the sport.

So, for you Giant fans I picked on and always tried to fight with and troll - I apologize.  It wasn't for you guys that made me - it was my own feelings during my "Virgin Year" of baseball that made me this way.

SO, now that you have been warned, I am an A's Fan and a Dodgers Fan - I love BOTH my teams equally, enough to travel to Spring Training to watch both.... before you hate, have you done the same?  I know Im giving up the hate....

Lets Go A's - Lets Go Dodgers!

Yes, that is Tommy Lasorda signing autographs behind me .. Yes, my boys both got autographed baseballs... And, finally, yes, I am fully representing the +Oakland Athletics from head to toe...

(I love my +Los Angeles Dodgers, but rarely get a chance to represent my other favorite team, so since I wore Dodger gear in SF, I wore Oakland gear to Camelback Ranch)

Looking at his '88 world series ring, I had to let him know I was there...

I swear, I live in constant fear of what my scale is going to say each morning... Back in the days before scales sent you text messages and kept track of your progress (or lack of), it was super easy to pop on the scale, see that I'm still fat, and leave without any worries.

Accountability Sucks sometimes...

When they put me on Contrave, it came in the mail free.... but then they took me off the contrave when my shoulder got hurt - so I havent had it for the past two weeks, but I still step on the scale out of curiously/habit...
