Now you see what you people have caused? We are all screwed, better read the entire manifesto!

A Message from The Queen

To the citizens of the United States of America from Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
In light of your failure to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA, and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.

Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except North Dakota, which she does not fancy).

Our new Prime Minister, Theresa May, will appoint a Governor for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire may be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed.
To aid in the transition to a British Crown dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect:
-----------------------
1. The letter 'U' will be reinstated in words such as 'colour,' 'favour,' 'labour' and 'neighbour.' Likewise, you will learn to spell 'doughnut' without skipping half the letters, and the suffix '-ize' will be replaced by the suffix '-ise.' Generally, you will be expected to raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. (look up 'vocabulary').
------------------------
2. Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as 'like' and 'you know' is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. There is no such thing as U.S. English. We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell-checker will be adjusted to take into account the reinstated letter 'u'' and the elimination of '-ize
-------------------
3. July 4th will no longer be celebrated as a holiday.
-----------------
4. You will learn to resolve personal issues without using guns, lawyers, or therapists. The fact that you need so many lawyers and therapists shows that you're not quite ready to be independent. Guns should only be used for shooting grouse. If you can't sort things out without suing someone or speaking to a therapist, then you're not ready to shoot grouse.
----------------------
5. Therefore, you will no longer be allowed to own or carry anything more dangerous than a vegetable peeler. Although a permit will be required if you wish to carry a vegetable peeler in public.
----------------------
6. All intersections will be replaced with roundabouts, and you will start driving on the left side with immediate effect. At the same time, you will go metric with immediate effect and without the benefit of conversion tables. Both roundabouts and metrication will help you understand the British sense of humour.
--------------------
7. The former USA will adopt UK prices on petrol (which you have been calling gasoline) of roughly $10/US gallon. Get used to it.
-------------------
8. You will learn to make real chips. Those things you call French fries are not real chips, and those things you insist on calling potato chips are properly called crisps. Real chips are thick cut, fried in animal fat, and dressed not with catsup but with vinegar.
-------------------
9. The cold, tasteless stuff you insist on calling beer is not actually beer at all. Henceforth, only proper British Bitter will be referred to as beer, and European brews of known and accepted provenance will be referred to as Lager. South African beer is also acceptable, as they are pound for pound the greatest sporting nation on earth and it can only be due to the beer. They are also part of the British Commonwealth - see what it did for them. American brands will be referred to as Near-Frozen Gnat's Urine, so that all can be sold without risk of further confusion.
---------------------
10. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as good guys. Hollywood will also be required to cast English actors to play English characters. Watching Andie Macdowell attempt English dialect in Four Weddings and a Funeral was an experience akin to having one's ears removed with a cheese grater. (This is incorrect however, as she played an American)
---------------------
11. You will cease playing American football. There is only one kind of proper football; you call it soccer. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which has some similarities to American football, but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like a bunch of nannies).
---------------------
12. Further, you will stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the World Series for a game which is not played outside of America. Since only 2.1% of you are aware there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable. You will learn cricket, and we will let you face the South Africans first to take the sting out of their deliveries.
--------------------
13. You must tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us mad.
-----------------
14. An internal revenue agent (i.e. tax collector) from Her Majesty's Government will be with you shortly to ensure the acquisition of all monies due (backdated to 1776).
---------------
15. Daily Tea Time begins promptly at 4 p.m. with proper cups, with saucers, and never mugs, with high quality biscuits (cookies) and cakes; plus, strawberries (with cream) when in season.

God Save the Queen!

PS: Only share this with friends who have a good sense of humour (NOT humor)!

Why can't that happen here? While many restaurants have been joining the stop hunger project, why not supermarkets? In a great country, such as ours, its a damn shame that so many people (especially kids) go hungry every day.
Italy is set to pass a law that will make supermarkets donate their waste food to charities. It will become the second European country to pass such laws after the French introduced a bill in February which bans supermarket throwing away or spoiling unsold food.

Beware of Hampton Bay patio furniture sold by Home Depot and others. About 3 years ago we bought a very nice looking patio glass table top with six swivel chairs. The swivel part in three of the chairs broke, one of them caused me to land on the floor while having a cup of coffee, luckily with no injuries or coffee burns. All the chairs now have torn mesh bottoms were you sit. I thought of perhaps finding the replacements online, well this is what I found instead. Some of the people have had several injuries as a result of the crappy quality. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/furniture/hampton_bay.html

Oh really? I guess most of us didn't know this, right? Well, at least they recognize that some of us stay working, because we love what we do. Working with what is my passion and being able to see the beach out of my office window, its quite rewarding indeed.

I have been going to this shop for a year now, yes I smoke. You couldn't find a friendlier store owner than Mousa, always has smile and welcomes you by name. I don't think you could find a more comprehensive variety of smoking, vaping, cigars, plus all other related paraphernalia, in all of Orange County. Their prices are quite competitive and the service is just superb. I highly recommend them for any of your smoking needs.

I just briefly skimmed through all the reviews and it reminded me of a saying that my wife says; Some people will complain, even when they are hung with a new rope. Where else can you get a real tasty pizza, that you can choose all the toppings you want, fresh and hot from the oven for $8.95. The staff is well trained and very affable. Courtney, the manager, keeps the operation running like a Swiss watch. Plus, she remembers and welcomes you by name. Ninety percent of the times we ordered online the wait was pretty close as advertised, 10 minutes while they were baking it fresh. The other ten percent was either football night, or some other especial event, and the lines of people ordering (walk ins) went to the street. Even then, the wait was no longer than 20 minutes which was reasonable, considering the volume of people. Keep up the great job Courtney and team!

Having owned and operated a few service - retail businesses in the past, I know that regardless of how hard you try, you cannot please everybody. Which is the reason why I decided to edit my review, after reading the few negative reviews that have been posted. After all the years of my wife and I, as well as visiting family and friends going to Italian Cravings, we have yet to have an unpleasant experience. Every single time we have been greeted either by Tony the owner, or Carlos the manager, as if we were family. Even Carlos the Chef peeks out of the kitchen window to pleasantly greet us. In spite of the high turn over that restaurants have with servers, all along we have been served promptly, friendly and cheerfully. Even for home delivery, which we order at least once per month, the food has arrived within the 45 minutes promised, and hot as if had just come out of the kitchen. Having given credit, where credit is due, allow me to recommend a few real tasty items. The Sauteed Shrimp Cajun appetizer is to die for. So is the Chicken Tequila, and my wife's favorite Shrimp Scampi, is definitely a cut above. The lunch specials for $8.95 are a real bargain. The entrees are the same great quality as in dinner time, with a soup or salad choice, and portions that will find you taking some home. All and all, Italian Cravings is one of our favorite spots in downtown San Clemente.

We have been renting a mail box from them and I have nothing but praises for the staff at this UPS store. Everyone of them is so affable and helpful, that they definitely go the extra mile for their customers. A couple times that I was too busy to go to check my box, I called them, and they were so nice to check if I had mail, or not. Having owned businesses before, I can safely say, these guys are priceless! You owe it to yourself to pay them a visit for any of your mailing, or notary needs.

What's not to like? Kitchen sink backed up badly, dishwasher full of dishes to be washed. Called Jeremy, he immediately remembered who I was. A couple hours later Andy and (sorry, senior moment, can't remember his name) his new addition showed up. Both guys a joy to deal with, half hour later kitchen sink clear and flowing perfectly. After all these years calling Reese Plumbing, Jeremy and his team are the best. You guys rock, thank you!

After reading some of the reviews, it remind me that my dear wife Pat has a favorite saying when she sees reviews like the disgruntled ones here; "People will complaint, even if they are hung with a new rope" Today we went there around 3pm, the place was busy as usual. We ordered our favorite (which is extremely habit forming), fish tacos with a side of spuds (deep fried potato chunks). We always order them with an extra side of Shwack Sauce and Pico de Gallo, what a treat! In spite of being quite busy, the service (as usual) was very fast, attentive, and friendly. Devin, who I think is an Assistant Mgr., came to our table (as usual) to say hello and chat, what a wonderful person is she! If the place was as 2 or 3 stars, as a few people rated it, then why is it that it stays so busy? Shwack Beach Grill, Dana Point, keep up the great job, you are doing better than just great!

The staff working there any day of the week is great. Always cheerful and attentive. The pizza? Nothing out there can beat it! For the weight conscious the thin crust selection is great. Bake it at home and it fresh out of the oven, awesome!
