A magnificent example of 1970's ceramic design made by Ceramique de Beauce of Quebec.  The pattern is named Perdrix des neiges (Ptarmigan) and this three piece pottery set includes a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer all in dramatic sculptural shapes, glazed in matte black and white. Designed by Doug Funk for Beauce.

A charming red 1950's Marx ride-on toy train engine. The locomotive is made from pressed steel and has a wooden handle for steering the front wheels. The toy was manufactured in the 1950's, and the shape is pure Machine Age Deco. A fetching combination of the original gently worn paint colour and 27" length make it perfect for display.

A handsome and useful table, perfect for a small kitchen, dining or outdoor space. It seats two people quite comfortably, and four only if they all really, really like each other. The marble is a muted gray/green with elaborate white veining. The 'Eiffel Tower' base is chrome, and matte black.

Located in Cabbagetown: This wonderful shop sells a broad range of Modern, Vintage, and Antique pieces at attractive prices. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the staff is quite knowledgeable. What more could you ask for?
