Mr. Raul Leon opened the first Monterrey Mexican Restaurant in Doraville, GA in the 70`s. From there, he continued opening restaurants in the southeast turning a family business into a chain. Most all Restaurants are owned and operated by family. To date there are close to 80 restaurants serving Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. Here at Monterrey’s we are committed to serving great food and continue to better ourselves each day for our customers.
Enjoyed another great meal at my favorite Mexican Restaurant in Chapel Hill, Monterrey. The steak fajitas were great, full of flavor, and served very fast... not so fast that you'd think it was not very fresh.
