Online reviews: How much difference does one star make?
A study by Harvard back in 2011 discovered that Yelp's reviews created a significant effect on small businesses.
The study identified that a business could boost their revenue by almost 9% if their rating improved by just one star.
That was 5 years ago - if I was a betting man, I'd bet that 9% has increased somewhat since then. So if you're not getting online reviews, or your reviews are not favourable, it may be costing you 9% or more of business!
What's your plan for generating online reviews - particularly Facebook, Google+ & Yelp! - in 2016?
