Great shop, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I needed my O2 bottle filled aND traffic was heavy so they were willing to stay open later to make sure I got what I needed. Great work ECD.

Recently joined East Coast Divers on a boat dive to the White Hole/Turtle City, with many chartered boat dives under my belt I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism, informative, safe and fun chartered dive. Bob and Fred gave detailed orientations before each dive while leading each dive providing a safe fantastic time. This is a charter I will definitely be on again and recommend to any diver.

Just have completed Level 2 SSI Freediving course with Nick Fazah. WOW! What an outstanding experience and fantastic adventure! Pool sessions - get you confidence in your abilities. Ocean sessions - it is a fireworks of focus, joy, belief, achievements and accomplishments. You constantly discovering new and new abilities in your body and mind. It makes you want more and more.... Looking forward to continue my education with ECD. Thank you ECD!

I received excellent level two free-dive training with Nick. The tailored program provided me with incredibly efficient free-dive skills, as well as amazingly helpful gear recommendations and rental. Most of all, his stand for me to made it to depths even I didn't think I could, made all the difference in the world and is what got me to my new personal best of 90 feet. Thank you for introducing me to other free-divers in the area, I had a wonderful time diving with John and Julian. Looking forward to more diving and training when I'm back in July!

From the moment Nick answered the phone, it has been nothing but a pleasant experience. The customer service and value far exceeded my expectations. The entire team is amazing. We can't wait to go back this weekend and we look forward to many years of diving knowing that we've been taught by the best. Thank you to everyone at East Coast Divers.

Ok I just want to go on the record and say that I have never gone freediving in my life but I've seen videos of spearfishing and my buddy that freedives started to get me interested in trying it. I took my first training class during the week which ecd runs at the bu pool and was instantly hooked. I did absolutely horrible but I knew with the right people like Nick and Savannah training me and a strong will to succeed I could get better. To this date I've only done my classroom 1 of the actual freediving course, but have been coming to training at least once a week since the new year and I have seen a complete turn around of my capabilities in the pool. When I first started on empty lungs I could only stay down for maybe 5 seconds. Never did I ever think I would be able to swim the length of a pool 8 times on empty lungs with only a one minute stop between each length. Something that seemed impossible to me a month ago is now starting to come more naturally from what I have learned off of Nick. After talking to him for about 5 minutes you would think he is a doctor with all of his knowledge about how freediving effects your body and the science behind it. The shop is awesome and not over cluttered with useless stuff. They only sell what they recommend using and don't look to just make an easy dollar. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this class and this shop because of one simple thing. They took someone like me who could barely stay under water at all and doubled my breath hold time. I'm fairly confident that when I get in the water all the aspects of safety rescue skill and technique I learned will make me a decent free diver. Hey yelp is there a way to give more than 5 stars? Because I would if I could. Go take the class and I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

I started my training with Nick a few years back. I could not finish it at that time. Nick was unbelievable in the classroom, at the pool and then several times when I met him around. I witnessed him with a 14 years old and he was better than a lot of teachers in the classroom. Both Nick and Alex are the epitome of friendly instructors very adamant to instill in you safety while having fun. These two young people are probably the best in New England. They are dynamic, innovative and true their belief of environment friendly putting their actions where their mouth is. If you want to experience something unique as scuba diving go and talk to them.

East Coast Divers is the best dive shop I've been to. When I went to get set up with gear they were very helpful and gave me their personal opinions on the gear. Staff is very professional and very personable. As soon as you walk into the store they make you feel very welcome. Very good instructors as well, they make sure all your questions are answered and that you really feel confident with what you are learning. I not only learned how to dive with them but had the pleasure of going on a group trip to Saint Lucia. The trip was a great success, and Alex(the trip leader) was extremely helpful. Anyone looking to go on a tropical dive vacation should look no further! The trip to Saint Lucia was a fun experience. I highly recommend them to anyone, and look forward to working with them in the future!
