I usually love going here to feed my snake. They have everything and I've been faithful to this location for 7 years for all my snake needs. Why I am giving them such low stars is for their customer service as of recently has dwindled significantly than before. I had purchased a rat and the employee had put it in a very small box and just lifted the lids and he said it would stay. So I took it and drove away I trusted his judgement and before I knew it the rat was out of the box and in my car. I freaked out of course and was stuck in traffic. I was able to get the rat in another container and the rat was dead when I got home. I called and was told to come back today but I wouldnt be able to and they want me to keep the rat until I could come back which would be another week for me. You would think a receipt would be enough or just the fact I was there less than thirty minutes ago they could keep a note for when I come back again. I just felt they should have been able to better assist me and not give excuses that they have 15 employees and to find who I was helped by. Yep that was shitty and now I won't be visiting this store again but going to Mikes pet feed instead.

We were saddened and sickened by the degree of animal suffering - animals in small cages - the desperation in their eyes to escape. We watched the repetitive movements of a turtle going round and round the plastic white walls looking for a way out. When humans one day realize that animals are meant to be free in their natural habitat - not jailed in small cages for our amusement - the collective release of suffering will bring joy to all our hearts. Please if you visit this "vivarium" let them know you do NOT support jailing innocent animals!

The experience for me was like visiting a jail of amazing beings desperate of their situation. Yes there are incredible snakes and turtles and reptiles. That makes it worse. Really constrained spaces for each. I got out of there feeling very sad that humans accept animal suffering with such ease.

They have a great selection of animals, and their customer service is AMAZING. I have never had such knowledgeable, engaging, and personalized customer care. There was a very nice younger guy working there with strawberry blonde hair that gave us a tour of the whole store. Great place for kids, or to spend an afternoon! I got a chilean rose hair tarantula and it has been an awesome experience so far. I look forward to going back again!

People Were very knowledgable, and all snakes were hearty and ready to be taken home. I just bought a Brazilian Rainbow Boa from there.

We heard about EBV via a parenting site, where it was described as one of the must go places with children. I have to agree: this store is super impressive, and my preschool-aged children loved it there! We spent about 30 minutes asking lots of questions about reptiles as pets for children, and the young lady who helped us (Maya?) was super helpful. She knew a lot about which reptiles are best for young children (corn snakes, geckos, bearded dragons) and which are ok but more work (turtles, tortoises). She was able to answer a lot of specific questions, and I felt that if/when we were ready to buy a reptile pet, she'd be great at helping us get everything figured out. Thanks for a great experience for the children!
