5442300 This recipe is a combination of a couple of my favorite quick meals. The rice is a great side dish for any Asian-style protein, and the shrimp can be a tasty little appetizer, or pair it with your favorite veggies for a low carb dinner.  Paired together, however, and you have a super delicious …

000000 You know how I feel about mini things (see: pies and pies). These mini cobblers are perfect if you need a cute dessert that you can make ahead of time. They’re very quick to put together; just sweeten the fruit, top with biscuit dough and bake. Biscuit dough is probably the friendliest of quick …

Good for breakfast or lunch. By +FMITK: From My Impossibly Tiny Kitchen  #eggs   #greens   #foodie
5002200 I don’t know if this qualifies as breakfast for dinner. I guess it’s more like eggs for dinner that could also work for lunch… or breakfast? Either way, it’s quick and my favorite way to poach eggs. This technique was developed by Juan Mari Arzak, and is known as an “Arzak egg”. The first …

000000 If you’ve been around FMITK before, you know I’m obsessed with my Camerons Stovetop Smoker. Just when I thought I couldn’t love my smoker any more, I smoked some baby back ribs, and fell in love all over gain. Legit butterflies in my stomach. REAL LOVE. An hour in the smoker is all you …

52331610 As some of you may know, my ethnic background is Filipino and Black. This menu was my attempt to mash up both cultures into some tasty little plates. Basically, if Holly were a menu, this would be it. “Ang sarap” means “it’s delicious” in Tagalog, so “Ang sarap, bruh” perfectly sums up how I …

1522200 I love the fresh, bright flavor that chimichurri adds to grilled meats. Traditionally made with parsley, garlic, olive oil, oregano, and red wine vinegar, I decided to do a version with an Asian twist by adding ginger, mint and fish sauce and switching out the red wine vinegar for rice vinegar. This recipe also …

000000 This is one of my favorite quick dinners. While the chicken is cooking, it’s easy to whip up some tabbouleh and a little garlic yogurt tahini. I know this may be a lot of spices for some of you, but once you have them in your arsenal, it’s fun to experiment with different combinations. …

If we ever go #camping, this is how I'd want to do it! #foodie   #foodblog   #foodblogger
001000 Before this trip, the last time I went camping was 6th grade in the form of a somewhat mandatory field trip. Needless to say, I had no idea what I was in for. I was in charge of the menu for the weekend, so I planned the meals based on the conditions – no …

This restaurant has a great location but such bad food. We sat up on the rooftop for the amazing beach view and ordered several items off of the deck menu. These items were really basic: grilled fish tacos, salmon burger, tuna melt, ahi poke...so, so terribly bad. For $40, we got unseasoned, sub par meals. The only redeeming factor for this restaurant is the location.
