Anyone know when the next tumbleweed is due to pass through these parts? I'd sure hate to miss it.

Not to oversell it, but my debut on Unwinnable is better than 10 Super Bowls.

New leather jacket, new overly tight black t-shirt, same old Nexy.

What say you? Pretty? Not pretty?

Should I develop an eating disorder?

(I have the ego of a scared teen girl and the vanity of a stereotypical Victorian poof.)

I reviewed Pokémon X/Y: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/10/04/pokemon-x-y-review-7f17a51b/

It's the best Pokémon game to date, and you should probably give me all of your pageviews.

My About.me page. Covers the entirety of my history as a professional writer. Think of it as the 2012 version of a résumé.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that all my "creative professional"-type friends somehow know one another, despite vast geographic differences.

I guess this means I can't tell anyone anything.

Introduction
I write for a living. My specialties include videogames, technology and geek culture, though in a pinch I've been known to cover politics, literature and philosophy.

Links to various archives of my work can be found on my handy About.me page.

Beaverton Toyota really lives up to the "sleazy car salesman" stereotype. I purchased a used 2006 Volkswagen Rabbit there a year ago, and since that time it's become increasingly apparent that Beaverton Toyota's salespeople did everything in their power to utterly screw me over. A short list of examples: I was told that my car would have a full tank of gas when I drove it off the lot. Instead, it had no gas whatsoever. The hood of the car had been replaced and repainted to match the rest of the body. I was specifically told that this had never happened and that the car had never needed any replacement parts. Tires, brakes, battery and A/C condenser had to be replaced within four months of buying the car. I was initially told that Beaverton Toyota would cover these costs as part of the used car warranty, but the company reneged when it came time to pay the bill. Between my first visit and last visit to Beaverton Toyota, their salespeople hounded my by phone, at times calling me 5 or six times a day, despite my telling them that I needed no assistance and didn't want to talk to them. The only reason I ended up buying my car there is that it happened to be the only vehicle of that type available in Portland at that time. If not for this I would have gone elsewhere immediately.
