A wonderful review of the latest Moonsongs story, Devil's Snare! AKA - Ways to make an author feel awesome. :-)
Friendship, fangs, and a bit of gore of course! #Review of E.J. Wesley's Devil's Snare
Before I fangirl over Devil's Snare (my absolute favorite in the Moonsongs series), here's a taste of my first encounter with this story with Blood Fugue ... Jenny does her best to be your typical hostile gaming hermit. Then she opens a seemingly innocuous ...

Goonies, Dead Poets, Footloose, Breakfast Club-movies that influenced generations, and most certainly my writing today. I ranked my 10 favorite coming-of-age films from the 1980s in the latest #NextLit  newsletter. Let me know if I left out your favorites... or if I simply lost my mind and ranked the best films too low. :) #NextLitChat   #Write   #FilmstoBook

Next Lit Chat is a weekly discussion of all things in "adult" coming-of-age fiction. (Think New Adult, Upper YA, & Adult genre fiction). We used to be known as NA Lit Chat but are broadening our horizons so to speak. :-)

This week, we'll have guest author +Becca Syme on air to talk about what she's hearing about New Adult fiction at industry panels she has attended. We'll also talk about where we think adult coming-of-age fiction is headed, and why it's here to stay (no matter what we call it).

You can participate in the chat by following and tweeting to the hashtag #NextLitChat  with your favorite Twitter client, listening to the on air broadcast here on G+ or YouTube, or do both for the full experience.

Show kicks off at 9 PM Eastern tonight!

We are making changes over at +NA Alley and we think you'll love them. Especially if you like coming-of-age fiction as much as we do! We are expanding beyond New Adult fiction to upper YA and adult titles focused on the transition to adulthood--be it sci-fi, fantasy, or contemporary. #NextLit

Where do  you get your best writing in? I love coffee shops as well. Somehow, the background noise and activity helps me stay focused, as opposed to writing in a quiet, empty room--which seems to encourage my mind to stray from the page.

"The crazy creative-type" is something we've all probably heard uttered at some point. For many people it's a real struggle and art is a vital part of their wellness routine.
I don't often talk about my struggles with depression, but as it's World Suicide Prevention Day, I've opened up a little in this article I wrote for Curiosity Quills. Many thanks to all the CQ authors their insights.

+PK HREZO is blogging about chemistry on the on page over at +NA Alley! The art of attraction is subtle in real life and maybe more so in fiction. What books or movies do you think capture romantic chemistry the best?
