We (my husband and a friend) started looking around for a company to pull together a tour of Spain almost a year ago since we didn't want a bus tour of Spain. We found EA Tour Specialist on the web and were at 1st apprehensive because there not many reviews of the company. However, after some back and forth with emails we decided to proceed and Sean put together for us a very comprehensive tour from Madrid to Gibraltar to Barcelona over 15 days. The hotels chosen were all 1st class (except for one in Granada) with easy access to all the landmarks, great free WIFI, great buffet breakfasts and friendly clerks and clean spacious rooms. The tour guides and tours and drivers/guides that Sean chose for us were 1st class. All the guides spoke excellent English in all cities, were all licensed and knew their subjects and cities very well and were on time....in fact they found us, we did not have to hunt for them. The drivers were all English speaking and very professional and prompt. The tours we booked all went off without a hitch....on time going and coming and delivered the product. Sean also made reservations for us for some of the lunches as well. Some we used and some we didn't because we picked a place closer to where we happened to be at the moment. I would not hesitate to use Sean and EA Tour Specialist again or recommend them to anyone. It was money well spent.

We spent several weeks in northern Spain following an itinerary that EA Tours put together. It was perfect! Each day included visits to wineries, caves in which cheeses are aged, and much more. The hotels were marvelous and our driver, Victor, marvelous. He accommodated our every whim with consummate patience. We are unfortunately back in the US and back into the grind, but we wish we were still in Asturias. My wife and I really enjoyed living in a world of Castellano and Catalan. We have taken many bicycle and other tours but none has gotten us as close to the cultural reality of a new place like this tour. The only clear solution is to do it again. Our recommendation is enthusiastic--five stars!

We just returned from several weeks in Spain, and Sean organized a smooth, worry-free trip for us. One of the best things about the trip was having a driver/van pick us up at airports and deliver us to our hotel and then pick us up at our hotel and take us to our next city -- having that convenience was just amazing. All of the drivers that ferried us around were clean cut and English speaking, so we could ask our questions. I must add that you shouldn't try to drive in Spanish cities -- the narrow one-way streets are just impossible to navigate if you don't know them. Another excellent part of the trip that we couldn't have done for ourselves is to find small but very nice hotels in the hearts of the cities. Not only were we well located for walking, but the prices were more reasonable than if we had tried to book them ourselves. We have always planned our own trips in the past, but we'll start relying on experts now that we know how much someone like Sean can help us.

My wife and I employed EATour twice as support for our Camino walks; 110k in 2011 (4 of us) and 220k in 2013 (just my wife and I). It was easy to book, pay the bills, and get all the backup information. They lived up to their word in every respect. The accommodation was very comfortable and interesting. The luggage was moved efficiently; never a problem. The meals were great. We had a driver who picked us up/dropped us off at the airport and who drove us to the out of the way hotels (when they were off trail) and he was a real gentleman and truly cared for our well being. The Camino traces through beautiful landscape and it was a pleasure to be able to focus on the walking and the viewing and not worry at all about the usual "where do we stay", "where do we eat", "how do we get there". I would highly recommend this operation to you if your interested in walking tours. Rob Young June 2014

During our recent recent trip to North-West Spain, our research online uncovered the EATour Specialist. With .them, we were able to plan a one day itinerary which covered several specific interests we wished to visit - from prehistoric ruins to Albarino wineries. The day they organized far exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend their company to all other travellers to Spain.

My wife and I, with another couple, spent over 4 weeks in Spain. We provided Sean at EA Tours with a tentative itinerary, to which he added some helpful suggestions, and then arranged for us all our accommodation, tour guides in many different cities, restaurant suggestions and bookings and a series of drivers to take us from place to place, and even helped us with a week's stay in Portugal in a villa in the north. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish - the accommodation was varied and comfortable, including hotels, paradores, self-catering apartments and a rustic farmhouse. The restaurants were always good and in some cases quite outstanding, the guides first rate and the drivers reliable and great fun to be with on extended drives. If you are considering an extended tour of Spain, I would highly recommend EA Tours - a trip such as ours will give you far more flexibility than a group tour, and will also be at a comparative financial advantage.

We had a wonderful 2 week family vacation in Portugal and Spain-- the hotels were wonderful and the guides excellent! We provided an outline of the sights we were hoping to see and the type of accommodations we were looking for. EATours put everything together including transfers and some restaurant reservations. It was exactly the kind of family tour that we were looking for and everything went more smoothly than we could have hoped. We had three generations on the trip so the age range was 70 to 16 and everyone had a wonderful time.A few of the highlights... Driver and guide were wonderful in Lisbon. And the Hotel Lisboa Plaza was perfect-- on a quiet side street but excellent breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. The hotel in Seville (Hotel Las Casas de la Juderia) was also excellent-- great location, beautiful setting, wonderful breakfast. The tango dinner was ok but the boat tour was a waste of time. Driver from Seville to Rondo and Rondo to Granada was very informative and made the drives as entertaining as the city tours! Guide in Cordoba was outstanding-- knowledgeable and kept everyone entertained. The hotel in Madrid (Lope de Vega) was 2 blocks from the train station, so we could have managed it without the transfers.

Spent a week in North West Spain known as Galecia with Sean O'Rouke of EATour as our driver and guide. 4 of us travelled by car for 4 days and finished in Santiago de Compostella for 3 nights. This was all organised by Sean who proved to be a fantastic organiser and guide for our trip as well as great personal company. We visited wineries, restaurants in the mountains, in the coastal fishing villages, in monastrys and castles. We stayed in the lovely paradors, full of history and great panorama. This is such an interesting, lovely part of Europe with so many facinating visits to various historical and gastronomical sites not to mention the fantastic wineries and people we met there. Boat rides with plates of freshly cooked mussells, river cruises with local wine tastings as well as Michellin star restaurants were highlights. Topped of by the local Spanish wines and Sean as our guide, made for a fabulous week. I would highly recommend Sean and EATours for anyone looking for a unforgettable, well organised Spanish holiday. What a beautiful vineyard, Galician Pazo (manor house) and winery! We started our visit with a stroll thru the vineyards where Alicia explained all about Pazo Baion. Then we headed to the winery which is in the old stables converted into a fully-equipped winery. At the end of the visit we tasted the 100% Albariño. I would highly recommended visiting this winery if in the D.O. Rias Baixas, Galicia, Spain
