Best to get it in early, you know, so you can get punished by not having to go.

It's the first day of school, and the high school kids are already acting stupid.

Ordered the "Mucho Nachos",two Raspberry Lemonades, and a Classic Deep Dish Pizza for $42. In terms of what I've had at other pizza places, that is, to say the least, overpriced. I understand it is a nice restaurant, but you pay more for the decor than the food. I've had better Deep Dish at holes in the wall, but the Deep Dish is as good as I've had outside the Windy City. The crust is good in my book, while my girlfriend said it "tastes like bisquick". Lemonades were awesome, nachos were good for about 5 minutes, after that they turned to soggy mush, but that's almost to be expected (I was really surprised how quickly the turned soggy), the pizza, as I said was good, but could have been a little cheaper. Service was nothing to write home about, but not bad. Biggest problem was the server took about 10 minutes to actually come take our order after we were seated. Good, but overpriced.

First off, this was my first trip to a Sizzler restaurant. Second, while the food was above average for a buffet, the service was great, all things considered. Our server's name was Billy, and that man was WORKING when we were there. In addition to the 5-10 tables he had to wait on, he was also bussing tables and seating guests, but he was still constantly helping us with anything we needed (drinks, refills on endless shrimp, etc.). The salad bar was great (hot bar left something to be desired-nachos, but no salsa. Strange assortment of foods like bread pudding and beef strogonoff.), I ordered steak and endless shrimp. The steak, while not the best cut of beef, was decently seasoned and relatively tender. The shrimp was typical fried shrimp, nothing more and nothing less. Baked potato, which may have been overcooked for some tastes, was still good in my book. If you're looking for a culinary treat, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for great service and one extremely hearty meal, look no further.

Had the $20 three course meal with Clam Chowder, Fried Seafood Platter and Bananas in Paradise. The Banana dessert was to die for. Clam Chowder was okay, fried seafood was above average. Came during the slow season, there were only about 20 other people there, but this place could get VERY cramped during peak season.
