Hangouts, phone calls and Google Voice

Thanks for all of your feedback on last week's Hangouts launch. I wanted to quickly talk about 1) making/receiving phone calls in Gmail, and 2) Google Voice support more generally.

1) Today's version of Hangouts doesn't yet support outbound calls on the web and in the Chrome extension, but we do support inbound calls to your Google Voice number. We're working hard on supporting both, and outbound/inbound calls will soon be available. In the meantime, you can continue using Google Talk in Gmail.

2) Hangouts is designed to be the future of Google Voice, and making/receiving phone calls is just the beginning. Future versions of Hangouts will integrate Google Voice more seamlessly.

Joe Reardon is the perfect real estate agent. He'll respect your wishes on budget, not push you into something you don't want or can't afford and help answer any and all questions along the way. I've heard horror stories about other realtors and was hesitant to use any realtor, but Joe helped calm those fears and doubts throughout the whole process, and even today, continues to follow-up with how things are going and anything he can help with.

I like the chowder (it's all I've ever had there), but not as much as the Chowder Bowl chowder. This tastes like it's not as creamy, more watered down, but I tend to like creamier soups/chowders, so that's my preference. Overall, good food. If you come during the busy season (summer months), expect to wait a long time to get seated. Small-town service. You should go if you've never been here. Try Chowder Bowl and Mo's and compare. I think they are the two best in town.

We purchased a deal through a local daily deal site, ordered the product, and it has never showed up. I've also called and left 3 messages to their support team and heard back, as well as 2-3 emails that have never garnered a reply. The sad thing is that we were really looking forward to the product we had purchased, but never got the chance to enjoy it.

I love this place more than Mo's. The clam chowder is thicker and creamier. The service is better and you don't have to wait forever to be seated. Overall, a much better experience. This is the way to go.

We came to the Berkshire Inn based on reviews from other people on Google and Yelp, and when we arrived, we were excited that it was close to Yosemite and had a feel that they were going to take care of us really well. The people were great in introducing us to the place and taking us to our room, but then it went all downhill from there. We went at the end of July, so it was hot. There was no A/C in our room. The bed seemed like it was old and slumped to the middle, but they tried to fix it with a 4 inch memory foam topper that made the problem worse. If you weren't in the middle of the bed (and only one of us could be!), then you were sleeping on a slant that kills your back the next morning, not to mention the loss of sleep. Shower went hot/cold for the duration of both of our showers. This could've just been our room, but our experience remains the same. The location was great, the service was great, but the quality and facilities experience was poor.

Eleanor's has cake pops that are amazing! The idea behind them is so simple, but they are delicious.
