A review of my "Only in Edinburgh" kindly provided by Colin Baird aka The Cycling Scot. Colin writes that "this book is the ideal companion. It reveals many of Edinburgh's secrets and hidden gems, so is much more interesting than a standard guide. There is a lifetime of exploring contained within these pages. The text is highly engaging and full of fascinating facts." +British Guild of Travel Writers

Travel writer Duncan JD Smith exploring rock-cut tombs at Petra, Jordan, famously described as "the rose red city half as old as time". When the sun catches the rock at a certain angle, the tombs glow in all shades of orange and pink. Capital city of the Arab Nabataeans, the tombs were excavated during the first century AD.
