Wow, it’s been a while since an update! I’m always excited to work with +Children's Hunger Fund, and earlier this year I collaborated with their talented media team on CHF’s “President’s Retreat” conference. I’m really proud of the music I composed for their videos this year, and I’d love for you all to take a listen!
Duncan Kirk Bohannon is an acclaimed up-and-coming composer for visual media. To date, he has written original music for CBS Television Distribution, for over a dozen short films, and for the award-wi

Went crazy enabling two-factor authentication yesterday on every web service I use that supports it. If you always have your phone handy, you should consider doing this for an extra level of account security. Probably overkill for things like Facebook and Twitter, but I recommend at least doing this with important things like Gmail, your Apple ID and Paypal. Check out this link for a list of all web services that support two-factor authentication.

EDIT—Correction: most of these services use two-step verification, not two-factor authentication. But still, probably slightly better than the one password for a given web service.

Very true. Basically, I (and Mr. Hahn who created that list) simply used the wrong term. So anyway…two-step verification. That thing.

You guys! My friends over at SOL Games (http://solgames.net) just launched a Kickstarter for their very first board game! If you love indie board games and want to support this industry, take a look at this Kickstarter project.

I also composed a couple fun pieces of music for the video! Check it out, and let’s get this project backed by President’s Day! #kickstarter #kickstartergames #boardgames

Nice place to hang out. They don't play music a lot of the time, which is great when I need to get some composing done. The service, however, I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with. I haven't experienced this personally, but I have witnessed the staff, especially one particular young barista, be quite rude to customers. I remember one situation recently where a customer asked for a couple glasses of water. As with most restaurants, this is free, and the barista was openly exasperated in front of the customer, exclaiming that the task was "a waste of her time". That's unacceptable. I would love to see the service at this place GREATLY improved. I like hanging out here, but I never feel "welcomed". During some busy times, you may have to be patient with your order. Caveat: CASH ONLY for orders under $10. There's an ATM on location.
