Went here this evening and there was no manager in site. A bunch of teenagers standing around chatting with each other playing grab ass and seemed generally annoyed by the presence of anyone seeking help. I was actually told I could call the number on the brochure. Really? I am pretty sure your Irish phone plan can not make overseas calls, then neither can mine. I inquired about a tour, the girl made a call, told me while still on the phone that they did not have any openings while still on the phone and then basically pretended I wasn't there. This place needs some help with management and attitude adjustment.

During our visit in Dublin we were looking for a German-speaking guided tour. Cian from the Dublin Visitor centre helped us to organize it, he was competent, very friendly and patient with us :-), it was a real pleasure working with him

Unofficial. Be warned although this place looks official (as do many other tourism offices/visitor centres in Dublin) but they are all unofficial. Please visit the official visit Dublin centre as they are much more knowledgeable and will tell you about all the tours and events and not just the ones their company runs.

Hi there Ian, Thank you for your post, which I have to admit, I'm disappointed to read. First and foremost, we pride ourselves in being an information portal. In fact, we really strive to be the friendliest, most helpful tourist office in the city. :) Yes, we do we sell excursions *however* of the 37 tours we offer only 7 are operated by our company. To add to this, other tourist offices (including the government-run tourist office) have our tours on sale also. We are sure to tailor our advice based off of the needs of the visitor - his or her interests and objectives whilst in Dublin, and we may or may not recommend one of our own tours. Often, we are the first to suggest one of the many free museums located here in the city. Please contact us at supervisor@dublinvisitorcentre.ie so that we can further discuss this matter. We really appreciate your feedback. Best wishes, Emily.

Had an amazing time at the DVC Christmas Market on Saturday 13th of October. Staff were very helpful and we received a lot of useful information about events happening in the city over Christmas and tours that we are planning on going very soon!! We also got a delicious cakes and home made preserves. I really recommend this place to anybody wishing to explore Dublin and Ireland.

The visitor center is a huge help for all tourists in Dublin. The staff is well informed about everything and really kind, they happy to help you out. They provide brochures about every kind of programmes in Dublin, day trips and they sell the best value city sightseeing hop on-hop off package in the city (red bus).

I had wonderful Tour That was hosted by Eoin last Tuesday to Tara Hill and where St Patrick's Statue and original church and newhaven is located. I learnt so much history and knowledge from Eoin, he was a fun host and coach driver, I will have long lasting memories from doing the tour with you guys. Thanks again and will be passing your details on to friends that are travelling to Dublin in the near future. Neighbours Extra Actor Melbourne Australia

Dublin visitor centre did not fail to live up to my expectations as I have visited Ireland many times and no matter which part of the republic I am in, the visitor centres are consistently excellent - the staff are always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. I would like to particularly mention Karolina and Rebecca who gave us great advice and put us on the right track to enjoy our stay in Dublin last month
