Yes, Guinness may have been born in Ireland, but its Irish spirit is alive and well at Dubh Linn Gate Pub. Here you’ll find plenty of charming people eager to meet you, some spirited live music, 25 draught taps pouring deliciously fresh Imperial pints, and authentic Irish fare to fill the belly and soothe the soul. It’s a lovely day for a Guinness after all.

This is the perfect place to warm up on a winter night in Whistler. It is so fun when they have live music, the vibes are so festive. The drinks here are great and the service is really good! The food is also fantastic. The layout of the bar is very versatile. They have a large dining area with a large number of booths and tables, and a large bar near the front with the live music looking out at the base of the mountain. Highly recommend for a festive night in Whistler.

Great service, nice pint of Guinness, and the Gateway burger was unique and delicious.

This is the spot to go to after a day of being on the slopes. They have live music at 3:45 and 8:00. It's very crowded so you'll have to make sure to come early to grab a spot. They have good local and seasonal beer. I had the fish and chips and lobster bisque. Both were mediocre, nothing to rave about. The vibe of the place is very fun and "merry."

Hm. It looks like my experience at this establishment was much different than what most people had here. We decided to have breakfast here this morning at the recommendation of our hotel. My husband and I aren't picky eaters, but when "fresh squeezed orange juice" tastes watered down, soft poached eggs arrive hard cooked, potato pancakes - although served super hot - were also super dense, and burnt English muffins are hidden underneath all the fixings that make up Eggs Benedict, I question the standards of the morning kitchen staff. We sent the Eggs Benedict back and did indeed receive a much better plate of food, however, it took some effort to flag down a server to help us. From the reviews in place so far, this pub looks like a fun place to grab a pint. However, please save your hard earned money and go somewhere else if breakfast is what you're looking for.

We arrived shortly after 10:20 am for casual sit-down breakfast. So far, so good. My partner and I waited about 10 minutes before ordering, nothing unusual there. However, we then had to wait over an hour for our breakfast to be served. Another gentleman who arrived far after us received his order and finished it before our meals emerged. Needless to say, the server did not let us know when our order was coming, did not check up on us and wasn't a very friendly fellow. Moreover, when the meal arrived the eggs were soggy and cold, the bacon was soft and undercooked and the potatoes were so deep fried that there was hardly any potato left. I would NOT recommend this place. It is overrated and you can easily get a quick breakfast elsewhere in Whistler Village.

Our favourite place for early breakfast and apres in Whistler. Attentive and pleasant servers and the food and drinks hit the spot.

This is where the après ski happens in whistler. It's lively fun and has a live band every night. Guinness on tap. Wings coated in Guinness and dry ribs are great too.

I apparently have had an extremely different experience here then anyone else posting on this board, however I have now given this place 3 chances, (attempted to get a beer last night, breakfast this morning, and then a beer after skiing) as its in my hotel. First off this place is filthy, it smells and feels like a Frat House. Last night I witnessed several people dragging a girl out in a headlock, with the waitress behind her yelling, extremely loud, dirty, was ignored and eventually walked down the block to a much nicer bar. So, I chalked that up to just being a saturday night on a vacation weekend. This morning there were still empty glasses sitting on half the tables from the night before. We were once again ignored, breakfast took forever to get, and was far from memorable at best. Then after skiing, i just wanted to get a quick beer, I attempted to go somewhere else first, after these two experiences, but due to how crowded Whistler is right now, it ended up making sense to give this place one more chance. I was shoved twice by the waitress in two different locations in the bar, while she was running around... without as much as an excuse me or im sorry...spilling my beer the second time. I want nothing to ever do with this place...and am really hoping the rest of my vacation here is better, otherwise I will stick with Park City Utah for a ski vacation from now on.
