This is a story about two roads — Should and Must. It’s a pep talk for anyone who’s chosen Should for far too long — mon…

Had a wonderful day exploring the coast on my birthday.

I am convinced I was born of the sea.  I always feel at home and at peace when I am there.

The Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel barque sailing vessel that ran ashore October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast en route to the Columbia River. It was abandoned on Clatsop Spit near Fort Stevens in Warrenton about four miles (6 km) south of the Columbia River channel. Wreckage is still visible, making it a popular tourist attraction as one of the most accessible shipwrecks of the Graveyard of the Pacific.

My female Great Dane gave birth to 12 healthy, beautiful pups today. Hearing those puppy sounds are incredibly cute! The red hue is from the heat lamp they were under. #GreatDanes #Puppies #Cute

"I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine." -- John Galt
Introduction
"It is not the nature of man – nor of any living entity – to start out by giving up, by spitting in one’s own face and damning existence; that requires a process of corruption whose rapidity differs from man to man.  Some give up at the first touch of pressure; some sell out; some run down by imperceptible degrees and lose their fire, never knowing when or how they lost it.  Then all of these vanish in the vast swamp of their elders who tell them persistently that maturity consists of abandoning one’s values; practicality, of losing self-esteem.  Yet a few hold on and move on, knowing that that fire is not to be betrayed, learning how to give it shape, purpose and reality.  But whatever their future, at the dawn of their lives, men seek a noble vision of man’s vision of man’s nature and of life’s potential." -- Ayn Rand

I loved the customer service here. A nice relaxing experience with a pleasurable personality from the staff. The drinks were poured strong, the food was fresh and made to order, the pricing was reasonable, and the service was prompt. This is an old style pub/sports bar environment. Friendly place.

This is a quant neighborhood cafe. I stopped in for a quick latte and to access the internet. The atmosphere is pleasant with nice patio setting in the back and sidewalk setting in the front. The internet connection was fast and reliable.

A quaint restaurant that delivers exceptional food. I enjoy treating business associates here. The environment lends well for a great business dinner.

Maybe there really is "magic in the hole". Or maybe it is all in the experience. Regardless, the donuts are a delight on the palate and stopping here should be on everyone's agenda as they come through Portland. The location lost a little of it's appeal with their remodel and expansion into the adjacent space, but still well worth the visit.

I am rather pleased with this Sport Clips. The staff is extremely personable, attentive to your needs and usually remember you on your return. This location is much slower than the other locations which allows you to get in and out faster. I received one haircut here that I was not entirely pleased with and returned the next day to have it corrected, which they happily corrected. I would definitely recommend this location.

This club is not one of my favorites but is convenient. During the lunch hours and immediately at the end of the typical workday, this place is very crowded. Usually you are able to find a machine or get to the weights you need, but the locker room is usually where the inconvenience comes in during those times. Waiting for showers or even finding a locker is a challenge. The club is clean and the staff is friendly.

Great selection of saltwater fish. The owner is extremely friendly and willing to talk about the fish and issues that you may have. His prices tend to be better than many of the competitors. Be sure to check here when you are looking something in particular.
