The study of digital identity and social media is one of my primary research areas. I believe in educating others on the short and long term impact of social networking while developing strategies to maximize their online presence.

I specialize in student development through student conduct. My unique approach to student conduct is rooted in my training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I believe in a person-centered approach to working with students. I view the conduct process as an opportunity to set goals, create action plans, and get students connected to resources. Basic Information
Cyclone Anaya's is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Houston. This particular location is always busy on the weekends so plan ahead. The chips & salsa are a good start, but adding queso dip makes it a better start. I typically get a Jumbo frozen margarita whenever I am here. It tastes really good and is strong. The stuffed green pepper and the steak quesadillas are excellent selections. The steak quesadillas have a unique cheese blend that sets it apart from others you may have had from other places. Cyclone Anaya's is great for happy hour or special occasions.

De Cero has strong margaritas and great tacos! The sautéed salmon and catfish tacos are delicious. My favorite tacos are the skirted steak with cheese! This taco is flavorful, but you will definitely need a few to fill up. This is a great happy hour spot for meeting up with friends and celebrating the end of another work week. If you are sitting near the bar, you will get to observe beautiful photos from Mexico. I really like the Passion Fruit margarita, but I am in love with the Kiwi margarita (Photo featured). You won't be disappointed by De Cero!

This is one of the better Harold's locations in Chicago. It is always packed with people and there is a wait time for the food; however, it is well worth the wait. They are never shy with the mild sauce. All of the food is made fresh to order. The pizza puffs with the signature mild sauce is one of the best kept secrets. For the fried foods, you can have them add lemon pepper, salt, pepper, and/or mild sauce to enhance your eating experience.

This is the only Dock's location in Chicago. I absolutely love the fishwich from here; however, the experience in getting it is a bit aggressive. This is a small restaurant so there is not room to stand in line to place an order and watch inside for the food. The service is extremely slow and it is always hot in there! Dock's does fried seafood so well that you quickly forget about the experience you had in the store. The food is seasoned to perfection and always worth the wait. If only there was a way to eliminate the inside the restaurant process.

Pluckers Wing Bar is a great addition to the Houston community! Good luck finding a seat on game days. It is packed. The establishment offers free valet for customers so you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot in the neighborhood. The food is amazing! They have a variety of wing sauce selections. The strawberry lemonade is delicious and comes with unlimited refills. Save room for dessert because the fried Oreos and ice cream are the real reason I come here!

This is my new favorite upscale Mexican restaurant! The ambiance is incredible with the dim lights and wooden decor. They make the guacamole right in front of you. The chips and salsa kept me wanting more. The highlight of the night came when my entree arrived. I ordered the Fajita Tres and it was amazing! The bacon wrapped shrimp were delicious. I didn't save room for dessert but I was very pleased with my overall experience.

When you enter, you find yourself in a line that reminds you of a cafeteria. The line is typically long, but you are not phased by it. All you can think about is how great your food is about to be. I live for the steak and chicken tacos because you get plenty of meat. You can tell the chicken and steak have been marinated in advance to achieve the flavorful outcome. This is an authentic hidden gem that everyone should experience at least once.
