We are officially getting back to normal after last years drought.  A year with only one full time crew.  This week we added a second crew and already have a month of work booked for both crews.  That still means two trucks are parked but it is twice a good as it was.  Yah!

I'm glad it's the weekend, even if it is almost over. Drought last year and floods this year. Thanks to everyone who is patiently waiting for us. We want help as many people as possible as quickly as possible and we will do our best.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see our leaky basement booth.  Home Shows make you think Spring and we look forward to nicer weather.

Our saleman Steve is overloaded with estimates so the Boss is pitching in.  Lot's of Wet #Basements out there.  I saw some harsh realities in peoples lives today.  Foundation cracks and seeping block walls were a common thread today.  One young man was supposed to close on his house today but now has to deal with a #basement flooding.  Hang in there!

WOW!  January thaw or what!  We have not seen rain like that for I don't know how long.  The office is a madhouse with all the calls coming in.  While it is stressful on us getting such an onslaught of calls, it is always sobering to remember that we only exist due to other peoples' misfortune.  It is imperative that we have empathy for all our clients.  Many lives are turned upside down at these moments and not just for a day or two but perhaps weeks while backlogs are cleared.  We really want to thank everyone who patiently wait for us to rescue them from their disastrous wet basement leaks.

Concrete block foundations are notorious for leaking and will typically cost more to repair. You can see by the hollow sections seen in this picture that water can easily travel through the blocks and show up a distance away from where it actually entered from outside. This means that a leak in a block foundation requires a larger repair area and a larger repair cost. How do you fix a leaking block wall? Visit drybasements.com/...
