Foam rolling is all the rage these days.  Even Mindbodygreen just published a post recently titled, "Why you should foam roll everyday." But, what does it really do? If done correctly, foam rolling...

I have been an athlete all of my life and ex military. Many times I have visited doctors with negligible or minor results, with the usual "cortisone" shot or the need for surgery as the only means to healing. With Doctor Steve Tucker, it was a wonderfully refreshing new experience. I walked into his office with full blown sciatic pain and walked out pain free and able to perform my activities at 100%. No drugs; no surgery. It's also nice to see an individual who is passionate about their work and actually cares about their patients. The "assembly line" feeling is not a part of Dr. Tucker's vocabulary. He cares. He goes far and above what most do to deal with the problem at hand. I urge anyone with pain, athletic injuries and joint or muscular discomfort to visit Dr. Tucker. You will not be disappointed. Hercules T Sifonas Ex Army - Sergeant Special Forces - EU

I developed some debilitating back pain several months ago, due to a combination of an injury and many years of poor posture. I was wary of seeing a chiropractor because the media tends to put a negative spin on their practice. When I met Dr. Tucker, I explained I was nervous about getting big adjustments to my neck and spine. Because of my concerns, he introduced to me the practice of "networking". It is a very gentle technique that allows your mind to connect with your body's alignment. My body corrects itself during each session, so I come out of the office with improved posture. The technique has also greatly improved my body awareness so that during the day I notice which activities are causing back strain and then I can modify my positioning. Dr. Tucker's networking combined with recommended exercises and stretches that I practice at home, has let me go back to my regular work (child care) five days a week, and I haven't had to take time off work for back pain in months.

I was really nervous to see a chiropractor for the first time, but when the pain I was experiencing in my neck due to too many hours on a computer was accelerated due to a car accident, I had to do something. I'm so glad I found Dr. Steve Tucker! He listened to my worries and really heard them, as he eased me into treatments and completely got rid of my whiplash. He's also quite the wizard, somehow knowing where I'm sore just by looking at how I carry myself when I walk into the office! Always willing to accommodate a busy schedule, Steve has been such a positive element to my overall health. Highly recommended!

As a computer programmer, I suffered from occasional back pain. I've been seeing Dr Steve Tucker for the past half year, and it's really helped both my health and my posture (I haven't had any back pain in months). He's also provided exercises and advice which has helped me get better on my own time. I highly recommend him.

I have had an evil lower back/leg pain for the last three of four years as a result of numerous sports injuries and a couple of surgeries. After trying unsuccessfully just to ignore the pain and continue on with my active lifestyle I tried various forms of treatment (osteo, physio, acupuncture, etc etc etc) none of which really worked. I finally decided to try a chiropractor...and I can now say that after four months of treatment with Dr. Tucker, I actually feel pretty normal...which I had forgotten what that feels like! I definitely recommend Dr. Tucker as he is dedicated to relieving the pain, and if not for him I would still be popping too many advils trying to deal with the daily pain!

I'm a "masters" marathoner (which just means that I'm over 40). I ran my way through one injury after another. My massage therapist, who is very good in her own right, got me to stretch more than I used to, and taught me, injury by injury, about the human body and how things inter-relate. There was however, 25+ years of sitting at a desk with a keyboard and a mouse to undo, exacerbated by running long distances. My hips had their own special rotation going on that caused a lot of issues. It took her about 2 years of her pushing me before I finally booked an appointment with Dr. Steve Tucker. I had a healthy fear of chiropracters (for no specific reason, just those anecdotal stories that everyone seems to hear). I went anyway. After the first session it was abvious that this was going to be a big help. I even felt a certain elation walking out of the office and out towards the metro, probably with some flow of energy and blood through my system that hadn't been there in ages. Since then I've had significantly fewer injuries, posture has been significantly better, and I have even begun to feel uncomfortable if I've been slouching in a chair for too long. Shlomo has a very accurate point in his review below when he states "Steve doesn't just run through the same adjustments every visit - he looks at my posture, feels around for sensitive areas around my spine, and adjusts accordingly." That's exactly my experience as well. Steve has an uncanny ability to look at me for a few seconds, push in one or two spots on my back, then ask "How does this feel" as he presses on the exact point that hurts or is sensitive. I can't finish the review without mentioning that there's always an interesting conversation each visit where Steve will introduce me to some knew diet or exercise regime that someone out there is promoting, along with the pros and cons, and how elements of it may or may not apply in my case. I strongly recommend Steve's work.

As a dancer and stressed student with major tension issues I have found great relief from my sessions with Dr. Steve. He has an efficient and astonishingly accurate touch, with the ability to find, identify and diagnose my problem spots. Beyond the success I have found from his adjustments, repeated sessions of Network (a low pressure nervous system relaxation treatment) have granted me a new control to relax muscle groups I previously had extreme difficulty accessing.
It's hard to believe that food so healthy can taste so good. Even my five year old loves eating here. The food, decor and service are all excellent. Love the Dragon Bowl with grilled tempeh. Menu is excellent for those that are gluten free too.
