Samsung unveils updated Gear VR hardware, compatible with Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

‪#‎Android‬ ‪#‎Samsung‬ ‪#‎GearVR‬ ‪#‎GalaxyS6‬
While unveiling the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung also announced a new Gear VR headset that is compatible with the new devices. Since the original Gear VR is only compatible with the Galaxy Note 4, this move only makes sense. The new Gear VR brings a 15% reduction in size, ...

I've used my Gear VR maybe three times since I got it a month ago? It works well but ... needs more compatibility with other sources of media.

Samsung is blowing minds right now with its unveiling of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. While you try to absorb all of the info, here is the full list of specs for each device. Both are almost identical, outside of the Edge display in the S6 Edge, battery capacities, and dimensions.

Come watch the Samsung Galaxy S6 event with us!

#android   #galaxys6
Now that HTC is off stage at Mobile World Congress (MWC), it's time for Samsung to dominate the rest of your life. OK, that's a bit excessive, but with the soon-to-be-announced Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, expect Samsung to try and return to its pre-2014 form. All signs currently point to these ...

Here is the official, and full, list of HTC One M9 specs.

#android   #htconem9
The official HTC One M9 list of specs has arrived, are you ready for it? Of course you are, because you pretty much knew the entire list weeks ago. That's not to say that the list isn't impressive, it's just that HTC is the worst at keeping anything a secret. As a quick, high-level recap, ...

These are the US carriers and retailers that will carry the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

#android   #galaxys6   #galaxys6edge
Starting in April, you will be able to buy Samsung's new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge phones at carriers and retailers across the US. Not all are getting both phones, though, so if one in particular grabbed your attention – like say the Galaxy S6 Edge – you will want to check the list below.

Check out that "Verizon 4G LTE" logo on the back of the One M9. Oh, it also won't be available until some time in Q2, instead of March, like everywhere else.

#android   #htconem9   #verizon
If you are skipping Samsung's two new amazing-looking phones to instead going with HTC's new One M9, know that the phone won't be available from Verizon until some time in Q2 of this year. HTC announced this morning that the new M9 would start shipping in March at select carriers and retailers.

+Tim Gudmundson+Jawan L. Smith I think most of it stems from something +Verizon Wireless did on one of the older note phones (it might have been the note II). They put their logo IN THE MIDDLE of the home button, which I thought was pretty brash and abrasive and, had I been considering that phone, the Verizon logo home button would have killed it for me. Ever since then, it always seems like Verizon's branding is noticeably worse than ANY of their competition.

Doesn't bother me anymore since I switched to +T-Mobile, so if Verizon wants to tramp-stamp it up, meh... I don't care. Just makes me glad I'm not with them anymore! :-)

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are official. They sound pretty damn amazing.

#android   #samsung   #galaxys6   #galaxys6edge
Samsung didn't waste any time in announcing their new phones, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Somehow, they managed to keep these phones mostly under wraps leading up to today, which means we are actually in for some surprises. Leaks were close, but everything is now official.

HTC will once again sell an unlocked version of the One M9.

#android   #htconem9
In case you missed it in our post about retailers selling the new HTC One M9, we wanted to make sure you knew that HTC will once again sell an unlocked version of its flagship phone. We don't have word yet on pricing, but I would imagine it will drop in somewhere around the $650 range.

Introduction
We have this little obsession with Android super devices that find their way onto U.S. networks. Can't explain it, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to do.
