On Tuesday, Samsung is going to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 7, that much is certain. We’ll be on hand in New York City that morning as they show the phone off on stage. For weeks, though, rumors surrounding the phone’s availability have been all over the board in terms of timing. We’ve heard reports …

+Zach Cline I just found that little blurb with this article to be funny. I had owned the Note5 for a short and never found this whole fiasco about the Note5 to be a big deal...

Swiftkey confirms that they are experiencing odd prediction issues and has turned off cloud syncing for the time being while they fix them.

#android #swiftkey

http://drd.life/2awQmkv
Users of Swiftkey noticed some odd behavior from the popular keyboard this week, behavior that resulted in “unfamiliar” terms, and in some cases email addresses, showing as predictions. In a short blog post released this morning, Swiftkey acknowledged the problems while stating that they do not believe any of this is the result of a …

Deal: For a limited time, grab a refurbished Moto 360 (2nd Gen) starting at $150. Not too shabby.

For a limited time over on the Daily Steals website, you can pick up a manufacturer refurbished Moto 360 (2nd Gen) smartwatch starting at $149.99. Is that a good deal? Well, considering this Android Wear watch is still listed at $299+ on Motorola’s website and the Google Store, yes, it does appear to be a …

I have had a smartwatch for 2 years now and there's nothing great about them nor anything really useful as it just as an extra step to which more than likely you should have just pulled your phone out in the first place.

I know we keep saying this, but for real, we are now just a few days away from Samsung’s unveiling of the Galaxy Note 7. We will be on-hand in NYC as Samsung gives us all of the details, but until then, the hypetrain rolls on. Posted onto Samsung Korea’s YouTube, a video details what appears …

+Gideon Brontë it's 100 off but I'll probably wait until fall for the sales. I don't mind having a year old phone as long as it works well! I do what to try all of the new phones as well!

Poll: Who is your current wireless carrier? How are they treating you?

#Android #Carriers

http://drd.life/2ajtfH6
It’s been a year since the last time we asked which carrier you are using for your mobile phone needs, so it’s time to update our numbers. Last year, the majority of voters were rocking Verizon, with Big Red capturing nearly 60% of the vote. Following Verizon was T-Mobile at 20%, then AT&T with 9%. …

Sharing items to your Google Play Family Library isn't as straight forward as you may have thought. Depending on the type, there are rules around whether or not it can be shared. We have those specifics here.

We are still getting used to this whole Google Play Family Library idea, where we get to share purchases on Google Play with up to five family members. It’s an awesome idea and my wife and I are already using it, but as some readers have pointed out, figuring out what exactly can be shared …

What a shame such a good idea has been ruined by the payment system. Why can't my wife pay for things with her card which is then shared ?

Here are five reasons the Moto Z and Moto Z Force are worth buying. Not together, of course, but separately.

If you happened to read our reviews for these devices, which can be found here (Moto Z) and here (Moto Z Force), you will know that if it was our choice, we would likely opt for another device over either of these two. They just don’t quite mesh well with our lifestyles. However, if you …

#TBT: Remember the Galaxy Note 2? Man, what a phone. Let's discuss it on the eve of the Galaxy Note 7's launch.

#Android

This time next week, Samsung will have announced the Galaxy Note 7. Before that happens, though, let’s take a step back in time to late 2012. Nearly four years ago, we reviewed the Galaxy Note 2, and at that time, the Galaxy Note 2 was one of my favorite Android devices. I was getting pretty …

I never had the Note 2 but I did have the Note 3 with his janky software. Camera was good though and the S Pen was handy but that USB 3 port and cable was a joke.

LG posts its Q2 results, but all we care about is the announcement of an upcoming V series smartphone.

LG announced its Q2 results this morning, but while a lot of the talk was on the company’s home entertainment and kitchen sectors, we are a bit more concerned with the mobile side of the business. According to LG, while the company saw revenues of $2.86 billion (an increase of 12 percent from Q1), it …
