This growler is AMAZING! It's a shame the kickstarter side of things gave them a bad rep to start with, but I highly recommend the product! WAY better than the YETI products and much cheaper too!

Poor customer service. No response to emails, and still haven't received products paid for over a year ago. Kickstarter abuser, used format to get ahead, but still hasn't delivered in promises and worse yet won't explain what is going on.

These Growlers are the BEST! I own 2 of them, plus I keep an additional one at the office just in case! I have 1 keg tap for them that keeps the beer fresh literally all week long! I usually fill mine with Hop Venom from Boneyard, drink half of it on a Friday or Saturday night and wont touch it again til next Friday and with the keg tap it stays fresh and delicious the entire time. These Growlers are so awesome that they kick the Hydro Flask growlers in the nuts and walk away like nothing happened. Don't get me wrong, hydro flask is great at water containers and coffee mugs, but when it comes to the larger growler size, hydro flask is worthless when it comes to keeping your beer fresh and cold! It also looks like a granola eating hippy when sitting next to a Manly, Beef Eating Drink Tanks Growler! BOOM!, That's right, I said it, Drink Tanks is better! Im also a backer for their kick starter project and I cant wait til that comes in! And I agree, they keep pushing back the deadline, but its completely understandable being that I do not live in a perfect world (unlike Ryan) and nothing goes perfectly as planned, likewise Drink Tanks obviously had some kinks to work through that took longer than expected. I appreciate them working through those kinks before delivery in order to deliver a Top Quality and excellent working Product. The guys down there are awesome, hardworking people, keep it up! If you don't have a drink tanks growler, you need to get one.

Unfortunate series of interactions with the company means I'll keep on looking for my dream growler.

Dont know about the negative ratings but I bought mine at Lowdown Brewery in Denver and love it. Added the CO2 system later and even better.

I'm reviewing their product, not the location itself... I own two Drink Tanks 64 oz growlers, and cannot say enough good things about them. I've had numerous growlers (still do), but use growlers enough I wanted a very nice, high end growler, that I could use for years. I did a lot of research, compared a lot of well known and respected products, but ultimately went here and have not had ANY regrets. Here's my breakdown: PROs: Stainless Steel - I've had a growler break in my car, which was quite annoying. And in general I've found myself being more conscious of my glass growlers and the fact that glass can, easily, break. Insulated - this is, to me, maybe the biggest plus over all my other growlers, none of which are insulated. I didn't realize just how convenient it would be, but I've found so many occasions where I'm out and want to fill my growler, but won't be back home for several more hours. Not a problem anymore. Or if I go somewhere right after work, I've already taken my full growler and kept at my desk for the day, and it's fridge cold after work. Clamp Top: In addition to the obvious freshness factor, I've also had a screw top that started spraying in my car when it toppled over. Shame on me for not securing it, but still - nice when it doesn't spray beer all over the place. Wide Mouth: they're just so much easier to clean, dry, and fill. And pour, actually. So better in every way. Color/Finish Options: who doesn't like variety and options? Plus several friends are now getting them and it's nice that we can all get our own and they're not all identical. Handle: again, something that wouldn't seem a big deal, but if you've carried some growlers, you know how annoying some of those handles can be. This carries great, is easy for pouring even when filled to the brim... I also use the handle to buckle the growler into my back seat and it stays perfectly. Also easy to clip to backpack when I camp. CONs Price: to me, this growler is totally, absolutely, 100% worth the money. But there's no doubt that it's the thing many people will see first and could deter them from purchasing. So I get that. But again, for me... Totally worth it. I have 2 because I use these all the time, and have absolutely got my money's worth. And just to add to a negative review on here: I, personally, think that if you jump into a Kickstarter campaign, there should be a certain understanding that you're basically helping something develop, and there may be bumps along the road. As far as the normal business side of Drink Tanks, I've had great experience. Ordered and received growler I think 3 or 4 days later. Sent a question about the growlers and their customer service got back to me with clear answer/explanation, etc. So... I'm not discounting someone's frustration with a Kickstarter experience, but I haven't found that to be the general way of the business. Overall: A+

KickStarter project gone wrong. They have been promising and accepting payment from backers for the promised Steel Lids for the backers, but yet they continue to delay the shipment. Decent growlers, but not worth dealing with this company.
