I see the blood moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'.
I see bad times today.

this has turned into a cluster f@ck plain and simple....
Australia's National Broadband Network project is now in uncharted territory. Beyond a joke, beyond a politicised mess, and even beyond farce, the incredibly inconsistent handling of the project by Liberal Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull has led it far outside the bounds of rational discourse or intelligent consideration.

+Cameron Smith Watching hockey with Google Glass.

In the last year we've seen our Explorers use Glass in really inspiring and practical day-to-day ways. Something we've also noticed and are very excited about is how Explorers are using Glass to drive their businesses forward. A number of companies have already teamed up with enterprise software developers to create new ways to serve their customers and reach their business goals.

The Washington Capitals and Schlumberger are just two of the companies that are at the forefront of exploring new possibilities with Glass. The Washington Capitals partnered with APX Labs to create a fan experience where real time stats, instant replay and different camera angles are all brought directly to Capitals fans via Glass. Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company, partnered with Wearable Intelligence and is using Glass to increase safety and efficiency for their employees in the field.

This is only the beginning of what’s possible for Glass and business. If you’re a developer who is creating software for U.S. based enterprises, we’d love your help in building the future of Glass at Work. Get in touch with us here:

Waiting for Oculus sports...  the experience will probably suck, but the visuals will probably be worth it.

Housemate bought a NAS, 10Tb of storage space, plenty for everything. Now comes the task of moving media from the various computers around the house onto the NAS.
During this I have discovered our Modem/router has only 10/100 switching and i may have screwed up some of the pairs in the cable through the walls. I may have to rearrange our network topology to put everything on the gigabit switches.

Moving a three terabytes of tv shows at 11mb/s is agony.

That's only about 78 hours. Do you really need ALL your shows there right now? Just prioritise the ones you want and then leave your PC on for a couple days.

Those money grubbing dole bludging national park are gonna have to pay their own way because Budget Emergency Labor Waste Boat People.
Not to mention the Australian Antarctic Territory research station.

"The AAD could step up its research efforts on behalf of private corporations or look for commercial sponsorship opportunities."

Do they understand the Antarctic is a non-commercial reserve? What private corporation is going to fund Antarctic research when they can not make any money out of it?
Ugh, Abbott The Destroyer.
The money-making potential of Australia's national parks, including Uluru and Kakadu, could soon be tapped by a federal government department facing a desperate budget crisis.

Cool and blow any claim future Australia might have on Antarctica.  Which could be used as a negotiating tool to stop others strip mining it rather than typical Oz mine mine mine

We got a Spinich Naan, Butter Chicken and Lamb 5 spices on New Years Eve. It was pretty ordinary. Rice was hard and crunchy. Service was quick, potato/chickpea balls were good.

Went here with 7 people, the waitstaff were conversive and helpful. The food was exquisite, I reccommend asking the staff about the chalkboard specials. Desserts, the Earl Grey Creme Brulee and Chocolate mousse. Eat here.
