Did I resort to name calling? No, I responded in a similar manner as him. You're going to get spam emails as long as you use it to sign up for anything, which is what I was saying. As well as spam detection is pretty good these days. In the 10 years I've been using gmail, I have received a very small number of spam emails in my normal inbox. Most of the time you see these types of post, people responds with gmail accounts.
Now, let's look at the alternative methods. I can ask them to send me a message in hangouts: I haven't met very many people who actually use that and would prefer not to use it because I rarely do use it. Tag me in a post of their own: that would be too much work just for an invite to buy a phone, posting on this post would be a lot easier. Me posting my email and you emailing me: but that's why you decided to show me "tough love", apparently it makes you a target for spam.
If you're worried about getting spam emails for posting it in the public, be my guest don't post it. I'm only looking to help people get a phone with a silly invite system without waiting till a Tuesday then a longer wait. Last time I checked, those without an invite had waited longer to have their order filled.
