Wow!  Such a great primer in teaching our kids about money but a much bigger vision as well -- a reminder that our view of money is changing (who deals with actual cash any more) as technology changes the way we interact with it.   As we have an arm's length relationship with real money -- does it change our spending habits?  Some thought provoking examples for all of us.

We're having fun with the box of #sharktankswag  we got from Shark Tank folks.  Lots of cool products but we spent the most time playing with the shark toothed box!

This tour was beyond incredible. I can't recommend it enough. Here's what make it so spectacular. ~ Our guide, Kate was absolutely charming. Her husband owns a restaurant in Rome so she's very knowledgeable about food, food culture and the Trastevere neighborhood. ~ We got introduced to a wonderful neighborhood off the beaten path where we truly got to experience life as a local. ~ We eat/drank in 8 different local establishments -- everything from appetizers to a wine cellar to delicious pastas and finally -- homemade gelato. ~ We got to meet the restaurant owners and hear a little about their lives, their backgrounds and how, in many cases, the restaurant had been handed down from generation to generation. ~ The food. Unbelievably good and so authentic. ~ The company -- we spent the evening with two other families who were delightful, friendly and we ended up exchanging contact information so we made some new friends! ~ We got to try so many locally produced foods -- cheeses, meats, suppli and some freshly baked cookies that were so good, we went back the next day to get more. ~ They went out of their way to accommodate my daughter's vegetarian diet (I had let them know in advance) and they went out of their way to make sure there was plenty for her to eat at each stop. I really cannot rave about Kate and this tour enough. I'd skip the Vatican, the Colosseum or the fountains before I'd miss this tour. It really was that awesome!

I own a 4 bedroom house in an upscale neighborhood and wanted to use it as a rental but I didn't have the time or skills to manage finding or keeping a tenant. KLC does it all for me. They've found me great tenants at a very good rental rate...who treat my home as if it were their own. Best of all -- KLC handles ALL the issues, calls, repairs, credit checks, etc. I literally do not have to do a thing but expect the rental money to be direct deposited into my checking account. I get all the benefits of owning rental property without any of the headaches or time sucks. KLC is responsive, helpful and very professional. I wouldn't be able to have a rental property strategy in my portfolio if it weren't for them!
