The staff here is jaw-droppingly rude. But, they're the only bagel joint downtown—at least the whole wheat everything is pretty tasty! Eh, what can you do?

Thesis worthy. Oh wait, I already did that. :) Thanks to +Lily Adams for sharing!
They’ve been genies, witches, housewives, private investigators, Playboy bunnies, stewardesses and sexy single ladies. Roles for women in TV have run the gamut.

Five (5!) original series just launched... I may be a bit biased, but +Teen Vogue's new video channel is seriously amazing! Check it out!

Worth the walk to 9th avenue. Sandwiches are divine. Service is cheerful. Cash only, but don't let that deter you - seriously one of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Go!

You can definitely find what you're looking for if you're willing to sacrifice a few hours of your day (and sanity). Know what you need - don't just come here to browse. Too busy!

Beyond awesome for anyone who is remotely interested in media. Should have the same reputation and prestige as MOMA, The Met, etc. but not quite as "mainstream" in the art world. Check out the exhibits or just stop by and browse the features in the lobby. A must for any TV fan (post NBC studio tour, of course!).

Nice hotel with excellent event space (The Hudson Theater). Just slightly east of Times Square so you're out of the chaos, but close enough to the action. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Jenna Lyons can do no wrong. NYC stores have a better selection (particularly featuring the Collection line) than anywhere else in the country (or online!). Surprisingly, my favorite location is at Rock center. Much less crowded than 5th ave or SoHo.

It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live here. The best time to see Times Square is at about 2am while you're riding in the back of a Taxi going down 7th ave or Broadway. Just enough of the magic without any of the slow walking tourists (sorry not sorry!).

Creative nachos, good beers, and plenty of TV to watch sports (if that's your thing). This is Georgetown bar during basketball season, so go Hoyas!
