Dragon vets are certainly a practice that cares. When our last dog took ill they looked after him for almost 3 years and gave him a good quality of life for his remaining years. We have another 2 dogs under their care and to be straight i would not consider and other practice. They are both trustworthy and have a caring nature which to be is very important.

They are fantastic, my dog Monty has skin allergy and they couldn't look after his needs better.

These are my local vets and I have always found them very helpful. I've never had any problems but our pets have only every been for boosters & general checkups - nothing serious. The vet assistant was extremely helpful when our rabbit's fur got all matted when she was moulting badly and had been too ill to groom it herself, and I couldn't get an appointment with a dog groomer that did rabbits, and she helped me bathe the rabbit and trim all the matted bits (and didn't charge). When we took our newest rabbit to get its injections they gave us loads of information leaflets and a free bag of food and were very gentle and patient handling the rabbit. The only problem is its one waiting room for all animals and some of the noisy dogs waiting can upset the other smaller or more nervous pets. They're not open on a weekend or late nights - only in emergencies which is a bit inconvenient but not all vets are open longer hours.

I don't thinkthat this practice is the only vets that are like this.....I find female vets are pretty uncaring and rough with cats. Choose a male vet as they seem to be more empathetic. One of my cats was euthanised by one of the female veterinary nurses at Dragon Vets and I couldn't fault her care for me or my cat. She was so lovely and empathetic to the situation I was faced with. My other cat had to be euthanised recently. The female vet who did it didn't offer me the choice of holding my cat during her last few minutes of her life. The female vet and nurse just held her roughly and I felt they "just got on with a routine procedure" (for them maybe....this was a cat I'd had in my life for the last 20 years). I've felt so guilty ever since she died that I couldn't give her love and comfort in her last few minutes.
