For some reason the Google warehouse where my Nexus player was dispatched from doesn't like me. 😠

Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but how can it not be good? #Björk #NYCTaper #freedownload
Last night, Björk played a show at New York's City Center theater supported by producer Arca, percussionist Manu Delago, and a fifteen-piece orchestra called Alarm Will Sound. For her first set, she played Vulnicura's first six tracks in order starting with the gorgeous "Stonemilker," while her second set contained a mix of older material before finishing up with Vulnicura's closing tracks (and two encores). NYCTaper recorded the whole thing, and...

Fascinating stuff!

You know us by now, dear readers. You know what sort of crazy cats we are. We're the sort of party animals who love nothing more than to kick back and relax with some spreadsheets showing passenger flow data on public transport systems. So it was that this week we decided to spend a happy hour working which is London's busiest tube line. Oh, yeah.

Wow.

Wow. Definitely need a visit to this cave added to the bucket list.

Decor is done very tastefully, good range of beers. Haven't tried the food yet, but have heard good things. The street view pic of this is before it was renovated and change of name.

This is a must for any local beer lovers. They have a large and ever changing array of lagers and ales, all of which you can have a taste of (add up all those tastes and it is the recipe of a good night). Their plate of ribs is certainly more than one person can handle, good for sharing and getting your fingers messy! Only downfall is there isn't enough room to house all the potential punters, expect to be standing on a busy night. During summer, sitting outside and watching local Stoke Newington pass you by is quite fun as well.

If you're a keen lap swimmer, this the best pool around. The main pool is a proper competition pool, which means 2m deep the whole length, resulting in only people going there who are there for lap swimming (i.e. no loitering at the ends getting in the way)

Perfect for a Sunday afternoon stroll, full of eerie atmosphere and history. Beautiful in the snow.

First thing you notice being an Australian in London is the lack of good coffee places. When you find one, you stick with it and let all the uneducated Londoners to get there and try real coffee. This is one such place! Perfectly made coffee! One plus for those who like their soy milk is they use possibly the tastiest soy available for making coffee anywhere in the world, Bonsoy. #12DayChallenge
