There seem to be a million tutoring companies out there. Does anyone have experience with them, particularly from the tutoring side?

Are any of you hiring that haven't posted a job listing? I need something flexible (I'm aware of flexjobs and weworkremotely), so I think looking at startups is the right place for me.

I've run my own startup for the past 5 years and that's one of the reasons I need something flexible. Until the last month, we were looking at 501(c)(3) status, but now we are looking at benefit corp and L3C statuses.

I also do incorporation work for "foreign" businesses where foreign means not of this state. It turns out that many of the clients are Indian (as in from India) but some of the clients are from New Jersey (and want to set up in, say, Maryland). I don't work sales for Occam (I am a contractor for them), but it's worth talking about what I do for them if you are getting started. While I have a JD, it is worth pointing out that I am NOT an Ohio attorney.

If we wanted to work out something longterm, I'd be happy to take the Ohio bar. We can talk here, or you can email me at dw11@unhlaw.unh.edu

I'm not a fan of the -NC licenses, but you can license commercially to not use SA or BY as well, so doesn't necessarily support -NC.

Everyone who need music for a commercial use can enjoy this special offer until May 31st!

Would any of you be interested in doing something more long form?

I run http://sportazine.com. It's more-or-less complete author freedom. Any sport, any player, any team. There are a few site design rules, but those are minimal.

It's hard to say what +Sportazine is. I run it through what may eventually be a business association called +Netizen Empowerment Federation (NEF). I had hoped to apply for 501(c)(3) status and then we would just pay JMP Enterprises a fee for their technical services. NEF is currently looking at benefit corp and L3C statuses.

The reason I mention this is because we can offer no payment. Other than 4 tickets to a DC United game, I've never received anything from working on the site over the last 5+ years.

What we can offer is press passes to minor leagues and an audience of over 1600+ facebook followers. We tried getting MLB press passes this year and were denied. We've successfully worked with ConIFA and the modern ABA in the past. We might be able to get passes for non-football/non-basketball stuff for UC/Xavier. I'd be happy to look into that if someone were interested.
