We walked down there from our hotel because Calvin wanted to see it, we couldn't remember if it had been repaired but it had. Nothing else to see in gastown.

A neat idea, unfortunately the "progressive" manufacturing methods make these things $25 retail, and $5 if you donate them.  They should retail these things at +WholeFoods!

I believe  an entrepreneur can probably make these for a few cents, packaged in some recyclable material, for a profit.  A non-profit  could distribute them  for far less than $5.
In Cambodia, we've already seen amazing results. After just 9 months of using the Lucky Iron Fish every day, we saw a 50% decrease in the incidence of clinical iron deficiency anemia, and an increase in users' iron levels. And people are feeling the difference. That's why the Lucky Iron Fish has ...

Cooking some items in cast iron fry pans and other pots should work too. The fish is a good idea because so much cooking is done in glass, ceramics and plastic.

We’ve been doing a lot of research into crapware and malware lately, and one of the most troubling things we found was that Google was serving up search results for open source software… with crapware-bundling ads at the top. Now it appears they’ve ended this policy and are pointing to the real download at the top.

An eclectic crowd works out here. As they are in the heart of Victoria's financial district, this is where a number of Victoria's top financial advisors work out. They have a number of classes - yoga, spin, "fight club", etc, the instructors are always good. The equipment is fine. Lots of classes to pick from. The mens change room is completely cramped. The décor could use some work, very dark ceilings with overhead lights make you feel a bit like you are in a basement, and its difficult to read the plates on the dumbells. You will see people working with trainers, people leaping up the stairs, people pretending to fight punching bags, or lugging their yoga matts to the studio. and lots of tatts on the staff. It is hard to find a clock, the music is unfortunately what you would expect, and it would be great if they would paint the ceiling white instead of black.

This is a great place to get quality pens (i.e. fountain pens, roller balls, etc). Owner is very knowledgable.
