This hotel is by far one of the best we have stayed in for service and looks. For starters it is situated in Kensington which a place for the wealthy and full of luxury. We stayed on valentines and went for dinner at El Gauchos which I have also reviewed. Rooms are nicely decorated and have everything you need for a great nights sleep. Beds are extremely comfy and warm. The only complaint would be that breakfast which was included was continental and they didn't offer an English breakfast or buffet option. Overall very enjoyable, such a shame that breakfast lets it down, would have been five stars otherwise.

Great location: walking distance to Museums, easy ride to attractions East and West. Very good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Rooms small but well organized. Staff is friendly, helpful and speak English.

The Doubletree at Kensington is in a fantastic location. The rooms were small but clean and modern and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Staff were helpful. Overall for anyone looking for a stay close to central London it would be hard to pass up.

I have been to London many times and this is one of the better hotels I have stayed in. The bedspread is so comfortable and you really relax when you lay down. Flat screen TV's and a nice desk to work on. Plenty of space to move around. The shower has a Grohe shower head and it is really relaxing.

We enjoyed this hotel - the room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable, the decorations were nice, and the staff was professional. We paid extra for the continental breakfast, which gave us a nice variety in the morning before heading out. The location was decent - it was about a 10 minute walk from the closest Tube station and the closest Big Bus stop, which is the hop-on, hop-off company we used. Our one complaint stemmed from the airline losing our bags. We came without our luggage, and for the price, it would have been nice had we been offered some toiletries and extra help locating our bags. The evening our bags did arrive at the hotel, we asked the front desk if they had received them, and we were told they hadn't. Turns out, they were there, which was annoying. Having said the above, we can't really fault the hotel, since they weren't the ones that lost our bags.

A very nice cosy hotel within a short walking distance of the museums. We did find the sofa bed for our young son not a suitable option. Overall the staff were amazing.

Great customer service on every to the hotel, check in was nice and easy, cookie was a lovely touch. The room itself was nice. Large double shower. Unfortunately, I never sleep well in air-conditioned rooms, but it was too cold to turn off the air-conditioning all together. Overall, would recommend the hotel.
