The hotel is located in a living area close to a main road. The lobby looks very nice. And the staff is friendly. The room was big enough. Sadly constructions were going on during my stay which wasn't listed on the homepage of the website. You could also hear the noise from vehicles that were driving by and from people on the hallway. Occasionally sounds from other rooms. The bed is nice and soft so if you manage to get a room without the sound disturbances it should be nice. The bar looks nice and was very spacious, able to order sandwiches around the clock.

Dear Vilmar, Thank you for your review. Please accept our apologies for the noise disruption, caused by commercial property development adjacent the hotel. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the hotel on your next visit to Dublin and we will make sure you are assigned a guestroom away from any construction noise. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future for another enjoyable visit to Dublin. Kind Regards, DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin - Burlington Road

Nice hotel with renovated rooms. Bar looks great and was fun to hang out after a conference. Didn't her anything from the rooms next door which is always a plus. Bathroom a bit to small and only with a tub instead of a shower. Good and friendly service at check-in but sadly no upgrades or executive lounge as a HHonors Gold Member.

The Burlington itself is dead, and is now known as the Doubletree. It still hosts one of the biggest parties during the RDS Dublin Horse Show week but you will find that the average age is somewhere between 15 and 19 and you will wait a long time at the bar to get a drink but nobody seems to need ID in Ireland!

When I checked out at this hotel, all systems were down. So they promised me to send me the receipt per email. This was two weeks ago! 30 minutes in call center waiting lines and six emails (!) to the reservations service later, and I still haven't received the receipt. Other than that, the hotel is not centrally located and looks really shabby from the outside. Inside I think, there were beginning to renovate the floors, which means it was really noisy in the rooms. The worst hotel experience ever!

Recently renovated older hotel. The rooms are renovated, simple, clean. The lobby is great and there is a great sports bar to relax in. Parts of the hotel still feel older, but overall this hotel is conveniently located near the center but away from the hustle and bustle. I think overall this hotel is good valuable for money. Its not the fanciest hotel, but it works for my business trip.

Bord Gais Energy Theatre

While +3Arena Dublin is the venue to go to for #concerts, the lovers of theatre and opera have a separate venue - the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. Reason for the separation of both is the huge demand for aesthetic performances, which a single arena cannot hold. The first performance was back in 2010, featuring the Russian State Ballet in "Swan Lake" - a classic. Nowadays there are many shows, being performed annually, which would fit any taste. Shows like: Peter Pan on ice, Madama Butterfly and To Kill a Mockingbird and, of course, solo performances by Tony Christie, Idina Menzel and Charley Pride.

3 Arena in Dublin

A central role in Dublin's cultural distinction, plays the well known +3Arena. The #amphitheatre has the capacity for nearly 15 000 souls, and to this day is the main venue for big concerts. +U2 were one of the first to perform on its stage. Nowadays, performers from both Ireland and the rest fo the world come here, like: Michael Flatley, Sting, Mark Knopfer and Placido Domingo.

3 Arena is open every day from 08:00 to 23:30.
