I was wishing my #galaxys4   was reversible and that I didn't have to push anything to turn it on. Here is my solution, it incorporates fingerprint reader bars on the side that are touch sensitive and maybe even lit or amoled. This would make picking it up and turning it on seamless anytime without finding the power or home button. It would also give a place for a notification bar and custom touch controls.

The IR blaster could still be the one physical button if needed but would improve waterproofing if buttons were no longer needed. I was toying with having an e-ink removable back cover option for those who want to read in the sun.

What do you think of my #mobile   #concept  ? I'm calling it #GalaxyD  . Do you have any other ideas for the side touch panels?

I'm curious was +Samsung Mobile or +Dennis Miloseski think. I know they're working on fingerprint tech but I like this implementation.

I've come up with a new product for iPhone 5S users to prevent digital theft. iPhones get stolen a lot and thieves have always wanted to steal your digits, but now digital hacking has been taken to a whole new gruesome level. A circular hole under each digit allows print input without exposing them completely. I'm hoping to sell them through Apple Care for just $199 which is a steal, especially when they they come in rich 64 link Gold*.
*synthesized using low grade foreign steel and a yellow dichromate coating of course.

In all honesty I've been asking for a finger print scanner to be a core feature of all phones for a long time (a year ago I was making those concepts with it), so maybe this will finally drive customers to require it from more manufacturers. Really I'm just after a lot more security and encryption and after the NSA rights violations who isn't.

Some fun places and photography experiments. This is probably what made me love photography, now with everything digital it's too easy to get stunning results without all of the tedious trial and error effort.

Congrats +Samsung Mobile  you finally made my phone with the new #galaxyround   , and exactly a year later. It appears to be missing the fiber optic notification lights and fingerprint scanner, but maybe on the next version. Hey +Dennis Miloseski I still think there needs to be a dedicated farmer phone (see my G+ pictures for an example) but if you need some ideas just let me know.

I know right. They did a nicer job on the body with the metal band and I like their fake leather cover better than glossy plastic. If I was really making it I'd use kevlar like the maxx but with a nice curve, that would feel perfect.

Hey +Google Maps why doesn't cached maps also store POIs and let me search and navigate? First is the cached area, then trying to search anything, offline zoomed in and then what it should look like.

Well I guess what we'll have to look forward to is that the Google Maps team are hopefully doing their best to restore all functionality and also making Maps better... You have to remember they've kinda rebuilt all of Google Maps considering http://www.google.com/maps/about/explore/ and the mobile apps facelift ... :)
