Story
Tagline
Audiobook Junkie, Sporadic book blogger, occasional master chef, soccer mom, wearer of pajamas, teller of tales, cool aunt, beloved wife, and loyal friend.
Introduction
I'm a work at home mom who can most often be found wearing pajamas, drinking a glass of sweet tea, and wearing headphones lost in the narration of an audio book or curled up in bed with my precious Nook Tablet. Like any bibliophile, I have overflowing shelves and more books than I'll ever be able to read and yet always on the lookout for more.

I read as often as I can. Books are my escape, my refuge, my  safe adventures. Audio is my preferred format for experiencing a book. I can't think of anything more relaxing than listening to an amazing narration of an incredible story. When you find the right combination of narrator and story, it is a special kind of magic.

I made an order online and requested extra cheese on my sub which I was charged an additional 80 cents for. When my husband picked up our subs and brought them home, I discovered that, not only did my sub not have extra cheese, it had NO cheese at all. So I called the store to let them know, the person who answered proceeded to tell me that there was cheese on my sub and she knows for a fact there was because her manager made it. I told her I don't care who made the sub, unless they are using a new invisible kind of cheese, I'm very familiar with what it looks like and that looking at my sub RIGHT NOW it is not there. She raised her voice and told me to "HOLD ON" and yelled for someone to "Come talk to this lady - she "claims" we didn't put cheese on her sub" as though I am lying to gain free cheese or something. So not only are some of the people in this store incompetent - they are also completely lacking in basic customer service skills. Ultimately, a manager got on the phone and apologized and offered me a credit toward a free sub the next time I come in. Hopefully the employee with receive at least some advice from the manager on how to conduct a phone call from a consumer in your place of business with some integrity and civility. Also they may suggest double checking an order in the first place so that they do not have to insinuate that their customers are trying to defraud them of cheese.

The food is half decent but EXPENSIVE. Just today - they made a mistake with my order and when I called to correct it - they apologized and said that normally they would correct the mistake but since they are just so busy - all they can do is apologize. Maybe the next time I call - the owner will give me a discount or something - but maybe not - she don't know for sure. Not the best way for a local business to treat their customers ESPECIALLY when I can get the same thing from Dominoes faster and cheaper.
