Last week I got to meet with World Bank last week as they were launching a new book on Venture Accelerator Networks. What is a Venture Accelerator Network? It's a group that helps entrepreneurs by nurturing their business development efforts through training, mentoring and brokering. IC2 was one of the 15 they studied - looking at our programs in India and Mexico.
I've only started reading, but if you are interested in how non-profits and governments can successfully foster entrepreneurship, it's worth a look.

$7k for a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech? Their student recruiting model is very interesting - core of degree seekers, group of aspirants who don't qualify but get to prove themselves, and those looking for certificates rather than Master's degrees. How very interesting!
A bit of LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias for the holidays (http://lostwinds.frontier.co.uk/) This week they have it featured as the App of the Week over at Apple. Really lovely with engaging ways to help Toku accomplish his tasks. Often puzzling but once you figure it out the solutions are always clever. Part of the genius is in puzzles that reveal themselves as the story progresses - very well done. (BTW, I didn't post this to FB, as they made me a friendly offer to pay $7 to promote it, and well, that's just silly).

Great location central to everything in downtown Austin. Gothic room is quirky, great bathroom, wonderful porch, Gothic sitting room. Breakfast is enough to break a fast, not a full meal. Beer is basic, why not offer a can of local pale ale? That's my only suggestion for improvement. Will likely stay again!
