As we approach the 4th of July weekend, I am pleased to present 16 amazing American road trips. I asked a few dozen travel writers for their favorite lesser-known USA road trips and am thrilled with the resulting list.

Sorry to be so long in answering you, +Dorothy Sander. I only had the opportunity to visit Raffaldini. Although I'm not a wine expert, I throughly enjoyed the Raffaldini wines that I tasted. And they've built an impressive operation.

Sun protection doesn't have to be a drag with these creative tips. Have fun in the sun without getting skin cancer. #skincancerawareness
You’re sitting on a beach chair with toes in the warm sand. The ocean gently laps at your feet. Ah, there’s nothing better than a relaxing vacation at the beach. It’s pure travel bliss and oh-so-good for your well being. But if protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays isn’t part of the vacation, you may be saying “ouch” next winter when the dermatologist removes a basal cell cancer, or an even worse, from your nose.
