How many of us have worked so very hard in dental school, specialty school or graduate school only to find ourselves in debt, over-worked, struggling to make payroll and not living the life we had imagined? Sometimes all you need is a change in perspective to see that success is right around the corner.

My son, Nate, and I were reminded of this lesson going through his college acceptance process. In the end he said, "Dad was right all along. I needed to look at things differently, hang in there and open my eyes to new possibilities."
