Wim Wenders' Until the End of the World is here, although it's still the short version.

Bill Buxton has spent most of his career getting between humans and computers. While his initial focus was on music and digital instruments,

I like a lot of things about my job, but getting to write phrases like "rocket-powered descent to the planet" is one of my favorites.

If you missed it on the site, my editorial on the problem with bad product names is in the latest issue of Distro. Along with some other great stuff. http://engt.co/tkbxgp

Huh. Seems you can at least preview Google Music tracks outside the US.

Congrats to the +Android team on today's Music launch!

This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I love the sloppiness... the mood... the tone... the repetitiveness... and especially the Mark E. Smith lyrics: "Don't confuse yourself with someone who has something to say." I remember listening to it a lot riding the train from London to Cambridge.

It's great to be able to share this with you... For those not yet in my circles, it's worth the $0.99... ;-)

The trend toward lousy smartphone names has been bugging me for years, so I finally wrote something about it.

Thanks to +Erik Sagen for the illustration on this one.

A good read. I often find myself annoyed not only with the names, but with the commercials as well. We all know about the bad and meaningless commercials from Verizon from this year and last.
