We're part of a new Kickstarter for a storytelling game that lets you stomp that supernatch ass in "Slayerville," hometown of one Hunter Hunterson and his kin. Check out the Kickstarter link here:

Wanna pull a ticket on a methed-out, parole-jumping goblin?Wanna whack a werewolf, mash a mage, destroy a devil, lay the smacketh-down on a sasquatch and more? Now you can (just remember to watch your privates if you square off against the rabid unicorns).

Here's how they describe the setting:
SLAYERVILLE — Beneath the main street of a small Kentucky mountain town is a crack from which the supernatural pours into our realm to prey upon the unknowing — or would pour, were it not for the monster-stompin' clans of this tiny burg. Fight alongside the Huntersons, the Breakmouths, the Walkers, the Clampets, the Hatfields, the McCoys and the Crushers, families that have protected mankind for ten generations. Come to this land of Justified meets Ghostbusters, put your shoes up, and sit a spell. (By New York Times best-seller Scott Sigler, author of Infected.)

I'm at that exciting point in game design where everything is perfect. The math is balanced, the bits are made, and it is just amazing.

Now, I just have to let people play it and kill the joy in my heart.

Someone discovered a Chicago promotional movie from about 1945-1956 at a New York estate sale.  The restored film has been digitized and uploaded to Vimeo.

Slowly, my game is coming together slowly. At least it seems slowly to me, but compared to many other games it's really quite quick.

Agent Cerebus9 was an agent I met not two weeks ago.  I was traveling through Pawley's Island SC and he helped me plan a field that covered over 700,000MUs across coastal North and South Carolina during the  #recursion  event in Nashville.  He helped farm keys, plan links, and run intel.  I had the pleasure of enjoying a late night beer with him at Island Bar, and met several times at his business in The Hammock Shops to swap keys and find ourselves lost again in the world of +Ingress.

We became friends almost instantly as we shared our adventures, triumphs, and failures. This man was a complete stranger, yet, because of this game, I had the opportunity to share in his story.

It was recently brought to my attention that he has passed away from a heart attack, and in the honor of our fallen hero, I wanted to propose a memorial.  The Hammock Shops Fountain portal was right outside of his business, and would be considered his home portal.  I have submitted a change request to have the name modified to the "Cerebus9 Memorial Fountain" with the description:  "Frank Z was a good agent and held the town of Pawley's Island close to his heart.  In his memory, this fountain has been dedicated to honor the name of Cerebus9.  May we be reminded to treat both friend and foe with dignity and respect as we mourn the fallen hero of this epic battle."

If you have keys, please recharge and request the name and description change until it gets approved.

We should not forget those who have passed on.  We should be honored to have fought beside them, and to have shared in their story.

The most important lesson I've learned from moving about is that I can live anywhere; friends and family are more important than geographic location. I'm into all kinds of stuff; games, web development, art, and all the other stuff you'll be able to check out in the interest fields below.
